  1. we have had our edge (2007 awd se) for 2.5 years. It has not given us one problem. it has hauled me and my familly from Ohio to NY, VT, FL, and surrounding areas. I have only had to perform routine maintenance (oil changes, wiper blades, etc). I recently replaced the tires with some Michelins and they have done well so far. We will see when the snow really flies. We have been thinking about a bigger suv since the familly has grown, but i just can't part with the Edge since it has been the best (as far as no issues, and minimal maintenance fees) vehicle i have ever owned.
  2. if you still have it i would be interested.
  3. Hubcentric adapters are typically made for aftermarket wheels. A good wheel/tire place will have an assortment of them and should be able to hook you up with a set. As far as finding what the inner bore is you will need to research a possible ford flex forum. It is easy as measuring the diameter of the center bore of the wheel. If it is smaller than your vehicle it can simply be milled/grinded to the correct size. I have never done it, but have seen many an import owner do this to get wheels to fit and they have never had a wheel fly off.

    Nice subwoofer install
  5. Almost 60k after a trip to and from NY. The edge handles NY and Long island traffic well. hmm maybee i will just upgrade the software and make this my fun car...lol
  6. No one makes a turbo kit for the Edge that I am aware of. You would have to find a shop willing to install a custom turbo set up. Plus the shop would also need to ability to tune the vehicle for the new amounts of air and fuel the engine would need to run properly. There are shops out there that can do this sort of work. But it will cost allot of money. You might be better off selling the Edge and getting a Porsche Cayenne turbo, or BMW X5 4.6 or M class amg if you want a fast SUV, It will be cheaper in the long run..
  7. That looks great, but after reading about them not coming apart after backing there goes my idea...
  8. Check out The Tire rack. they have specific wheels to fit every make and model and provide excellent support and service. Just remember a cheap set of wheels is a cheap set of wheels!
  9. how much for the wheels and tires?
  10. once again thansk for the welcome. I do really like this vehicle, and my wife reminds me everyday that i know like this CUV!!!!!
  11. please take photo's as this is the sort of upgrade i would like to do in the future
