I wanted to provide an update to this post to cover 2021+ Ford Edges. The Forscan programming portion has changed since the earlier year vehicles. The heated steering wheel master enable has been moved from the FCIM module to the HVAC module. It appears that the FCIM module no longer exists in the newer vehicles.
The connector for the heated steering wheel control module is located behind one of the supports that you can access by popping the fuse cover off to the left of the steering wheel.
Below are the following values set to enable the heated steering wheel, add it to the touchscreen display and set the temperature to 92 degrees. Note, these settings are for a 2021 ST Line.
Note, if the values are used other than the ones the above, the checksum of the entry will need to be recalculated. The underlined values are the ones that were modified for each setting. All other parameters in the message were unchanged (unless the CRC needs update). Note those settings could vary based on the model and options in your vehicle.
