  1. It was the drive unit for the high power fuel pump that failed and they discovered that the whole fuel pump needed to be replaced. I was not told why. I have been reading in other forums that one of the biggest problems with this car is that coolant leaks out onto the engine and people are needing new engines. The F150 forums are talking about fuel pumps and related issues that are like what happened to me. I've used whatever gas has the lowest price in all my previous cars and never had a fuel pump issue and they were all driven up to 200K. So I'd expect a newer Ford to not have this problem. Plus my old daddy hates the engine on this. He got the 3.5 and feels good about that one but not a 2.0. Told me to consider ditching it before the warranty is up after reading up on it.
  2. I purchased a 2020 Edge titanium 9 months ago, it has under 27k on it now and I just had to have a new fuel pump put in. I LOVE this car but the Eco Boost scares me now. I've never had anything other than Hondas and all those engines went well over 210k with no big repairs. Has anyone else had fuel pump problems?
