Any suggestions idk what to do can't get the lower ball joint to go into the knuckle for the life of me

Tried everything. Replaced the knuckle and hub assembly as a whole part. Everything came out nice but the lower ball joint will not go into the knuckle. Even if it I take the knuckle back off completely and try to fit the ball joint in the hole on the knuckle I just can't get it to go in at all..not a bit. I tried to put the top of the knuckle in and pivot it onto the ball joint. Used a big bar to pull down the ball joint after everything was put together but nothing works.
