I've been having somewhat of the same problem recently. My Ford Edge sport 2017. At first I thought it was slipping gears because it would jump out of gear at about 40 miles an hour. So I changed the transmission oil and everything ran a little better I could tell that the gears were catching so it wasn't that they were slipping. But I started getting the wrench icon on the dash and it still won't go past 40 miles an hour if you try to accelerate aggressively it kicks you out of gear. Now I'm seeing a wrench icon and airbag icon. PCM? Or TCM?
Any thoughts?
