There are several videos on YouTube of people with the v6 running straight pipes. If you're somewhere that does inspections and need the muffler for it, the easiest way to have it done would be to have an exhaust shop add a flange on the exhaust before the muffler where they cut it off so you can bolt a pipe to the flange or the muffler can be bolted back on for inspections. The v6 seems to drone alone without a muffler though.
