Thanks, I'll do that even though that still means replacing the unit for me. I hope you're right. One of my biggest concerns is what if it's a cracked wire in the harness not the unit it's self.

Hi all, I'm trying to track down any solutions to a problem I'm having with my 2011 Edge APIM. I bought it used a few months ago and the Sync was working fine, then the other day the screen went blank, but there was still power going to it. It was that way a couple of days, then it started working again, for a little while, then shut off again for a bit, then came back on. I just bought it used so I have no idea of the background on it. I understand the APIM is a common problem area for these things, so I'm wondering if replacing the APIM module will solve my problem or if there might be something else going on. Any help would be appreciated.
