Hi all
have a 2017 Edge currently suffering a PSCM loss of communication that I’m trying to get to
the bottom of with support for the forum
in the mean time the car is stuck in the road across the drive it starts drives but steering is locked is there any bypass or anything I can do to get the steering unlocked to get the car into the driveway to be worked on
it can’t be worked on outside on the road as private estate
I’ve serched internet and forum can’t find anything
any advise is appreciated

that would have a clue how ro
possibley disengage - bypass the steering lock to release it so I can move the car it starts drives but steering lock is locked on so only can go back
or forwards till I can figure out this module issue
surely it’s engaged electronically
please someone must know a work around

access the rack check connections for damage , water ingress etc
I’ll have my laptop with forscan for Tuesday day and I’ll look at what the software can tell me I’ll speak with the dealer tomorrow also

yes im glad to here that it’s not just me that cannot locate the data on PSCM location or part number I may call ford to ask for the part detail I’ve got enough data from yourself to proced
I paid for full forscan for a year and have the plug in obd switch required so will try with forscan to scan the PSCM

I was unable to see if there’s a part number for new PSCM unit
also do you know if Forscan can read PSCM and possible recode it

your a diamond I’m just out with the car now I’ve put a battery that tested good on the car and still
presented the same issues I’ve just seen all
