I bought Edge 2018 SE, 145k miles from a private user. Foolishly, did not take it to a mechanic for thorough inspection. CEL came in 3 days, P0036, 0302, 0302, 0316 with coolant leaking in to the engine.
Local mechanic suggested to replaced the engine. As a last resort, I asked the mechanic to pour the head gasket sealer (BlueDevil). Next day, the car would not start at all. As per the Mechanic; the engine has been sieged.
Finally, bought a used engine (2020, Fusion with 57k miles) for $2500.00 & paid the mechanic $1350 to replace the engine & O2 sensor.
It has been fixed now, drove the car for 1k mile; so far no issues.
