  1. I bought a used 2020 Edge SEL back in Sept. All good. After about a month I got a low tire pressure warning. Left rear. I aired it up and lasted another 2 to 3 weeks then low pressure warning again. So I started checking it more often(before a low warning alert). It has a slow leak. Well I finally removed the wheel/tire today to inspect for any punctures. Nothing in the treads I could find. So sprayed soapy solution all around the bead, both sides. Nothing. Checked valve stem needle....nothing. Turns out it's the rubber valve stem itself where it's mounted into the rim/wheel. I'm in my mid 60's and this is the first time I have seen a valve stem leaking like this. I was able to wiggle the rubber slightly and seem to stop the bubbling momentarily. Am I to assume about the only way to fix this is to take it to a tire shop for a new valve stem insert? The tires appear to be the factory tires. 47000 miles.
  2. I had considered that possibility from the start. When I checked battery voltage I made sure to check with the warning active to see if it was still seeing a charge....it was. Although now I have a better testing device and see U012D: Lost communication with generator "A" control module, U024E: Invalid data received from generator "A" control module. And sometimes U0284: Lost communication with active grill air shutter. It appears these are related and on the same LIN bus and can cause errors. I just need to figure the app out, Forscan Lite on Android, to monitor battery voltage.
  3. To revisit this one more time....been driving with the warning intermittent between on and off. I can start driving with the warning showing and then "poof" the battery light goes away. Drive a little longer and "boom" here is comes on again. It seems to have a mind of it's own. I have reverified the battery IS charging and showing 14.5 volts while engine running.
  4. After watching multiple troubleshooting videos on this subject so many things could cause this one. What is the rated output voltage of the alternator supposed to be? It might be because the output is lower than normal. Since I am/was only seeing 14 or 14.1 volts with engine running that could actually be lower than normal which is enough to cause the light/warning to illuminate. Of course that is the easiest check for me. Otherwise there are all kinds of devices and connections that could be the culprit. Luckily I have an extended warranty if needed.
  5. I bought it used about a month ago. First thing I did was replace the battery so it's brand new. Also reset the BMS. And yes the 14v was with it running. I'll have to check it after sitting all night but earlier today it was showing just over 12 volts sitting idle.
  6. So my 2020 Edge SEL started giving me a battery charge warning several seconds after it's started. I originally noticed it back early last Friday morning when heading out to a doctors appt. Shut the off then restarted and the alert came back on. Went to doctors office which is only like 2 blocks away. When I came out of doctors office I did not get the charge warning again. All fine until this afternoon(Sunday). This time I pulled out my voltmeter and the battery is showing 14 volts so it's apparently getting charged. What the message is "Charging system service now" with the red battery indicator remaining lit. So kinda scratching my head on this one as to whether it's a false warning or not?
  7. Thanks I just came back to report I figured it out using the both Keyfobs trick to display the code for me.
  8. I just purchased a used 2020 Edge SEL AWD. It had been a rental in it's previous life. It came with NO keycard(s). Also I cannot set the keyless entry with a Master Code. From what I've read I will need to go to a Dealership and have replacement Keycard made? What about the Master Code? Is that something that is generally known or is it more specific to the individual vehicle itself? Again something a Dealership can provide? Guess it's called the "Factory Code" that's asked for for the Keyless Entry.
  9. Yeah been wanting to get me a nice 3/8 cordless ratchet tool. Probably the Milwaukee M12 one. As an alternative I did get a good extended warranty($$$$) in case I want to go that route.
  10. I just put in a new battery. It appears some stuff was returned to factory settings but not everything. Either way I figured out how to delete the previous phones connected. It was easy enough to delete them individually. But I might do a system reset either way just to ensure all previous settings are gone.
  11. Thanks for the input. Looks like a big job just to get to the fog light assembly. Uggggg!
  12. I just purchased a used 2020 Edge SEL AWD(No Navigation) and getting used to all the settings. This vehicle used to be a rental. It's all in good shape and low mileage. I still haven't connected my phone to it yet but I do notice there are several previous users who have the setting showing the option to "connect to so and so phone." Is there any way to clear these saved previous phone connections? I have not seen anything in the Menus....yet! SYNC 3 has been updated to latest version.
  13. I just purchased a used 2020 Edge SEL AWD. I now noticed the drivers side fog light does not work. On close inspection it is full of water. I can bang on the assembly and get it to flicker. For the life of me I cannot find an easy way to access the fog light assembly. Where can I find any instructional material on disassembly/reassembly? I suspect I might have to remove some of the front bumper trim, wheel well, etc to access. At the very least I need to remove and reseal it to keep the moisture out.
