So to clear this all wheel drive error: started as a all wheel all cool to all wheel drive malfunction with clicking sounds from rear when parked and turned off, would make sounds periodically all by itself, so, is this relay the most likely culprit or am I trial and error? Can I buy a diagnostic tool from amazon or other that will give me more than error codes and definitions of..? What's the verdict?? I hate messing with a car that qualifies as a life form with an attitude...

I'm out of my comfort zone on this 2020 edge st with 1700 miles, I never drive. Just changed the battery. When turned off, clicking from rear transfer, told a selonoid, was flipping from 2 wheel to all wheel drive repeatedly until it drained the battery. So here I am, moved the car to flat, tried to back up a ramp for clearance and shifting knob automatically returned from reverse to park and set brake. Worried that if I open, clean this relay with only a couple inches of crawl space, this bast# will attack me for screwing with it...afraid my protective goggles wouldn't keep me from blindness if one of these hoses sprayed my face. Car starts but won't shift now, returns to park and sets brake, right after moving it after changing battery myself. Showing AWD MALFUNCTION.. JACK....SHOULD I CALL A PRIEST??
