Hello friends, I've been a long time lurker on this forum, and have found lots of the advice very helpful! I have a 2010 Edge Limited, 2wd. Basically it seems like every summer my battery goes bad. This is my third battery, and after having to replace it today, I started wondering if anyone else had this problem, and if so did you just live with it, or is there a heat shield or something I can install that will keep this from happening? It seems like the battery takes a huge amount of heat in the engine bay, and that is causing the battery to over heat and then leak everywhere. I invite any and all thoughts.
