That sounds like it’s from the Workshop Manual or something. I don’t own that but, if so, that does make logical sense. It’s still curious to me that the parts website seems to list the same part for the 2.0 and 2.7 but it could very well be inaccurate.

I’m not sure there’s actually any real difference between the PTU that the 2.0L trims have and the 2.7L. Maybe there is and I haven’t seen it but they seem to share the same part numbers on the assemblies. I did go ahead and flush the transmission fluid on mine at 30K, as that also services the front differential, but probably not as big of a concern as the PTU. I always do the transmission fluid every 30K on all of my vehicles I actually care about though.

For what it’s worth, I have a 2022 Edge ST and the documentation the Ford techs use when servicing the PTU and RDU. Inside of it, you will see all of the parts required as well as the OEM fluids. I did manage to track down a VIN from a Vignale trim in Italy. Looking at it, there are loads of differences. I'll play around with it a bit more and see if I can get it.

@garycrist good information and I completely agree with @lildisco regarding the maintenance schedule for these transmissions. I changed the PTU and RDU fluid as well before 30K. @Wubster100 those changes didn't seem to work. For full context, I am comparing a Canadian 2022 Edge ST 401a to my US 2022 Edge ST 401a. The changes you notated were some of the differences between the Canadian ST I was looking at and mine. I also tried using the identical values to the Canadian ST in the IPMA and IPC modules (SCCM and HCM were already the same) and the only thing either did successfully was remove the DRL option in the instrument cluster. I ended up reverting back but it's making me wonder if the Canadian Edge even supports the Glare Free option or if that's an EU/UK only thing. Unfortunately, it seems like getting a VIN in the UK/EU is nearly impossible since it's considered PII.

Thanks, @Haz and @sc00by. I did experiment with the IPC module by using the same settings as a Canadian Ford Edge 401a. I did not see the Lighting > Auto Highbeam option change to "Glare Free Highbeam" so figured it wasn't working. It sounds like it still says "Auto Highbeam" in the menus even when Glare Free Lighting is being used though if I'm understanding what the UK Owners Manual says though.

Apologies for resurrecting this thread but do you have any idea how to accomplish this with Forscan? I've done this with my F-150 but it appears that the same steps will not work with the Edge.
