Exactly! I took the door panel off and grounded the green/violet wire. Stopped the light, but the radio stays on unless you open and shut the passenger door. I'm thinking there has to be a WY to wire the door switch to trick the computer?!!

Does anyone know how to bypass the door ajar/open light on dash?

I have a 2013 Edge Limited. The door ajar/open light stays on and the bell rings everytime we stop the car. I read where you can get inside the door and tie the green/violet and a black ground to stop it.. I did that and it stopped, BUT now the monitor screen in the center will not go off when we turn off car unless we open the passenger door and close it. Is there another way to trick the computer?
