I've found the following locally: KT4Z-15A-449-A The question now is the difference between KT4Z-15A-449-A and KT4Z-15A-449-B. I know 448 is for the passenger side, 449 is for driver side. But i'm not sure about the last letter - A or B. It seems version with "A" is hard to find and 99% of searches give part numbers with "B" at the end. Visually, on the photos, both looks the same.

Hi guys, i swapped from trusty Ford S-Max 2.5T (inline 5) manual transmission to 2022 Edge ST. I'm living in hilly areas and most of the time is was using my engine for braking while crusing down the hills. Noe, on Edge ST with AT i can't find the way to use engine for braking. If I use paddles to manually shift down for higher revs i still can not feel braking. Maybe a little, but nothing close to my previous MT car. Will wear brake pads and rotors within months:/

2022 Edge ST rear fog light
WilkiST replied to WilkiST's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
Headlamp switch is installed already though i haven't run the wires yet. When i saw the location of BCM... WTF? How to get there?! Anyway, the headlight switch I got from Aliexpress, this offer: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005880630914.html and looks just fine - all the functions work properly but the one for rear fog lights due to no time to run wires. @Wubster100 - I thought this indication will come on it the digital form - icon on the LCD. I'm away from home so can't check it. -
I know the thread is oldish but for others wondering how to get the AT out of the "manual mode" - press and hold the right hand side paddle (keep some 2-3 seconds) and it will blink on the dash and switch back to full auto. This is what i can see in my 2022 ST. Cheers!

I think i'll take that risk and order one to check. If i buy from Poland i can send it back easily if not ok. Will post.

2022 Edge ST rear fog light
WilkiST replied to WilkiST's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
Than you guys for reference. I'll change the left one as in my country rear fog lamp must be at driver's side. -
I got reply from this shop: https://www.fordoriginalparts.pl/product-pol-14418-SWIATLO-PRZECIWMGIELNE-LEWE-TYL-EDGE-18-EU-_-2270321-_-KK7B-15K273-AB-_-KK7Z-15200-D.html?query_id=1 They said it will not fit 2022 ST:( And aliexpress offer is the same part number.

2022 Edge ST rear fog light
WilkiST replied to WilkiST's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
@Haz - MANY THANKS for explaining it in detail! The only this which is now making me uncertain is the fact that i don't have Euro-spec car. What does "AP" mean under "regional identifier"? And is ST-line share the same part number with ST? Do you still have a tool to check engineering part and service part based on VIN? Could you please check this one for me? 2FMPK4AP7NBA24289. That would be the ultimate confirmation. Thank you, Wilki -

Guys, in my county rear fog light is obligatory. As my ST is imported from the USA i have no rear for lights. Additionally had small parking lot adventure and my left rear red reflector is gone. Do you know if any ST was equipped with rear fog light? What is the part number for 2022 ST? I can find zero information on this subject. I have schematics and replaced light switch module already. Need to run the cable and find this bloody lamp. Please shed some light. I found this: https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/1005006877583781.html Can't tell if it fits USA version as i know those lamps/reflectors installed in europe EDGE models (diesels only) don't fit in ST:(:(:( Thank you

always / power-on live fuses for dashcam
WilkiST replied to Tronjo's topic in Accessories & Modifications
2022 Edge ST here: the same thing - trying to identify the correct fuses for dashcam. I looked at Repair Manual for my car and fuse number 35 on BCM is "Passanger Airbag Deactivation (PAD) indicator", rated 5 amps. Fuse nember 36 says: "Passanger Door Module (PDM)", rated 30 Amps. Looks like pretty different arrangement... There is nothing about switched fuses/relays in the description. -
Comprehensive List of Possible Forscan Mods?
WilkiST replied to ben senise's topic in Accessories & Modifications
I've just checked my 2022 Edge ST As-Built file in search for on how to disable auto start/stop function hoping your way7 will work. So on 2022 Edge ST memory cell 726-48-02 is: 6400 0364 0042. As you can see, the second digit is 4 not 1 or 0. This makes me unsure if it is safe to try to change 4 to 0 in this memory cell. Any hints? Thanks! -
Sergey - have you got some detail on this installation? DaMiFo - have you got some guidelines on how to activate rear fog light functionality in BCM and IPC? In my country rear fog light is mandatory.

Ambient lighting won't stay on
WilkiST replied to Davidoo's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
Guys, any update on this subject? Mine 2022 Edge ST has ice blue only and no options for color change on SYNC4:(:( And it is 2024 now, hoped they have released software update to activate this option. -
Bogi here, wanted to say hello to everyone. Just bought 2022 Edge ST, imported from US. Happy to study your inputs and happy to share my findings.

Very interesting thread here. I just got my 2022 ST and am very interested in PTU related issues. So far i know PTUs on 2019+ Edges are way different to the one in previous years. I hope i will be able to look under my car in some days and provide with real photos. For the moment this what i found regarding PTUs for confused owners, like me. PTU description: The Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is a gearbox that attaches to the transmission. The PTU directs power from the transmission differential case through a dog clutch to a hypoid ring gear. A hypoid pinion gear is meshed to the ring gear and splined to the output flange. A dog clutch is used to transfer drive torque from the input shaft to the ring gear. When the dog clutch is released, no torque is transferred through the ring gear and pinion to the rear driveshaft. When the dog clutch is engaged, normal AWD function is achieved by directing torque to the rear wheels as needed to prevent or control wheel slip and improve handling There are two different models of the PTU. The low torque PTU is paired with the 8F35, 8F40, and MMT6 transmissions. The high torque PTU is paired with the 8F57 transmission. The low torque and high torque PTUs are similar in design and operation. And some drawings: Item & description: 1 - Vent tube. Unique routing for each powertrain. 2 - PTU to transmission bolt for 8F35/40 & MMT6. One-time use. 2 - PTU to transmission bolt for 8F57. One-time use. 3 - Heat shield bolt 4 - Heat shield 5 - PTU to engine bracket bolts. Unique parts for each powertrain. 6 - 7B664 PTU to engine bracket. Unique parts for each powertrain. 7 - Oil temperature sensor harness bracket (If equipped). 8 - Oil temperature sensor harness bracket bolt PTU cooling system - if equipped: Item & description 1 - Fan and bracket assembly 2 - Fan and bracket assembly bolt Item & description 1 - Oil-to-Coolant cooler stud. One-time use, part of 7P159 kit. 2 - Oil-to-Coolant cooler. Part of 7P159 kit. And operating modes description: Power Transfer Unit (PTU) Operation The PTU has four (4) distinct modes of operation: Connected, Connecting, Disconnected, and Disconnecting. Each mode is commanded by the AWD module. The PTU contains a reversible DC motor and two hall effect position sensors. The motor moves the shift fork which connects or disconnects the dog clutch collar. PTU Position sensor A monitors the position of the actuator cam. PTU Position sensor B monitors the position of the shift fork. Some PTU models are equipped with an oil temperature sensor Connected Mode Connected Mode is the default mode for the PTU. The AWD module will command Connected mode at the beginning of each key cycle. In connected mode, the fork and dog clutch collar are positioned towards the RH side of the PTU. The dog clutch is engaged. The driveshaft is rotating at an overdrive ratio compared to the front axle shafts. Torque is available at the RDU. Connecting Mode To connect the PTU, the two halves of the Dog clutch must be within 40 RPM of each other. The AWD module calculates the speed differential based on transmission OSS, RDU Driveshaft Speed, and PTU gear ratio. The actuator motor will energize and rotate the gear reduction drive and the actuator cam against the actuator fork. When the dog clutch teeth line up, the cam pushes the actuator fork into position and the clutch engages. It can take approximately 100 - 150ms for the dog clutch to engage after the command is sent. Disconnected Mode The AWD module will command disconnected mode based on vehicle conditions. The purpose of the disconnected mode is to reduce drag losses from spinning the driveshaft when conditions indicate AWD will probably not be needed in the near future. In disconnected mode, the fork and dog clutch collar are positioned towards the LH or transmission side of the PTU. The dog clutch is disengaged. Disconnecting Mode To disengage the PTU, no torque can be routed through the dog clutch. That is, the RDU must be completely disengaged. Depending on vehicle conditions, the AWD module may keep the PTU engaged for the remainder of the key cycle. The actuator motor will energize and rotate the gear reduction drive and pull the actuator cam away from the actuator fork. When the dog clutch collar has moved far enough to the LH or transmission side, the dog clutch teeth disengage. Wondering if i have one on mine. Have fun guys!

Hi Guys, anyone tried to replace instrument cluster with full digital display? I've seen this mod and was great looking. Wondering if anyone using full digital has made any changes in codes (using ForScan) i.e. enabling AWD widget, AVG rpms, etc. Just wondering if those widgets graphics are designed to be displayed on traditional cluster (two LCDs aside central speed gauge) or can be displayed on purely digital panel. Those full digital are taken mostly from the latest Galaxy/S-Max/Mondeo models.

Let me say hello to every one - it's my first post here on forum:) Just bought 2022 Edge ST and i'm very interested in every information regarding Edge AWD system. What "AWD display" are you talking about? You have some AWD gauge on your cluster? /Bogi
