  1. Thank you for returning 5 years later. Sorry to hear the 3.5 is totaled. It is great the 2.0 has reached 200k.
  2. There is definitely an issue with the IPMA or the wiring. Clearly the IPMA thinks that the heater circuit does not have any problems, but that is not true because the heater was disconnected from the IPMA.
  3. Welcome to the forum @DWare, I don’t know of any updates. One thought I have: maybe we can investigate how the physical button of the 15” sync 4 connects.
  4. Welcome to the forum @ashleymcp17, The ambient lights can be found by searching for something like: car symphony ambient lights. There are multiple options for different kits. I got a kit with one main controller, 4 sub controllers for the doors, footwell lights, door handle lights, and light strips for the doors and interior. The cheapest place I found the kit was AliExpress. The cup holders are OEM. I will try to find the cost that I paid.
  5. Have you made any AsBuilt modifications that may have caused this?
  6. Before you replace the camera itself, you must verify the integrity of the wiring, connectors, and terminals. No short circuits, open circuits, poor connections, etc.
  7. Unplug this connector so that the heater is disconnected from the IPMA. Then, carry out the IPMA module reboot. Finally, carry out the IPMA self test. You should get DTC B120C. The IPMA should detect that the heater circuit is open because the heater is unplugged. If the IPMA does not detect that the heater is unplugged, then there could be a short circuit or something else that is causing the IPMA to think that the heater circuit is still ok.
  8. I have no idea is the mustang tail light nuts would actually fit or be the same size. They just look similar.
  9. It looks like there are no problems with the IPMA. If you unplug the heater, and run the IPMA self test again, you should get a DTC.
  10. Here is the closest visual match I can find, but it doesn’t seem to fit the context of the HVAC duct or an Edge. https://www.topflightautomotive.com/products/ca-1964-1966-ford-mustang-tail-light-housing-mounting-nut-set-8-pieces/
  11. None of the related parts of EM2B-R01902-AC seem to match the photo of the missing nut.
  12. Do you have a photo of this one that seems to be similar?
  13. I am not sure if it it possible to get the lense by itself.
  14. The rear 180 degree camera is so useful because you can see way more. The view is amazing! 🤩
  15. @Iroga I did some more testing. I now have an IPMA self test. I unplugged my heater again, and the IPMA self test successfully detected it.
  16. Thanks to @Beefnuts video, I was able to install a new rear camera. The solution was to pull extremely hard because of all the plastic clips.
  17. Thanks for sharing. Good to know they are free.
  18. It is another simple AsBuilt change. Inside of the APIM, change cross traffic alert from disabled to enabled. This should work for both SYNC 3 and SYNC 4.
  19. On some vehicles, such as the Explorer or Maverick, there arrows on the screen for rear cross traffic BLIS alerts. This is also possible for the Edge. As you can see from my video, the “Please check surroundings for safety.” message is replaced with “Vehicle coming from X!” There are also animated red arrows on the side that the vehicle is coming from. 20. Yes, auto hold is in the owner’s manual, but it is not equipped on any Edge. Auto hold is available on other vehicles such as the Lincoln Nautilus. Similarly, the Fusion does not have auto hold, but the Lincoln MKZ does.
  21. The IPMA uses input from the front camera and the ambient air temperature data from the PCM to command the heater on and off. The heater may be commanded on if the ambient temperature is below 5°C (41°F).
  22. I am also interested in this. My 2021 2.0l is at 70k mi. Although I would rather wait closer to 100k or 150k before I get an induction service.
