  2. Hello everyone. I bought Rexing M2 dashcam this past Christmas and just now getting around to trying to install it. (this might not even be the forum for this post, but what the heck) My issue is that my O7 Edge's rearview mirror is about 11" long and the Rexing dashcam is about 12" long. Of course the front facing camera and the front facing speaker are hitting the glass on the factory mirror which is doing me absolutely NO good. For this setup to work, the factory mirror needs to be around 10" or less... to allow both the camera and speaker to have clear views to the front. What are the rest of you doing in these scenario's with your dashcam's? I am NOT interested in taking down my factory mirror as I will have the wire harness hanging down not to mention I'd have to reinstall some old-skool looking mirror to accommodate the dashcam. I really like the ideal of this particular dashcam because of the added safety features to include blind spot detection, front and rear video capture, etc. Thanks in advance for any feedback/suggestions that might steer me to a solution that will allow me to both keep the factory mirror in place, yet install the new gadget. Best, Mike
  3. Hello everyone. I have a 07 Edge SEL Plus with the moon roof. The vehicle was handed down to me from another family member who took outstanding care of it. She didn't open/close the moon roof much at all. I noticed that most of the rubber seals have practically disintegrated and gone. My question is whether or not a kit is available to replace all the seals at once or am I going to have to purchase each seal individually. The roof opens and closes as it should with only a seal problem the only obvious issue. Thanks for any help in advance. Mike
  4. Haz, thanks for all the information you provided. It will prove to be very helpful. Would you happen to know if a pigtail (female sockets) for the C406 is available, versus the entire wiring harness for the parking aid/trailer lighting? My preference is keep everything nice and neat, however, I'm prepared to do some splicing as needed. Thanks for all the reference material (I saved all of it to my Edge OneDrive folder). Every bit of it will prove to be helpful when I'm ready to start setting up my towing kit. Best, Mike
  5. Hello everyone. I have been looking to install a trailer hitch on my wife's 2007 Ford Edge. The issue is NOT hitch related by wiring harness related. When I'm under the back of the Edge, I can look up and see a factory connector sitting just behind the rear bumper cover. It "looks like" it is a connection point for a trailer wiring harness. If it is what I think it is, I cannot understand why different tow hitch receiver company's are selling a wiring harness kit that DOES NOT interface with this connector... their harness' connect to the tail light lense connectors. My wiring schematics even show a trailer connector located behind the rear bumper cover so I'm at a loss on how to approach this... I don't want to purchase something I don't need, when all I REALLY NEED is a simple 1 leg harness that would connect to my factory connection. Does anyone have any experience with what I'm speaking of here? Thanks in advance for any tips towards figuring this out.
