  1. Hey, Thanks for you recommendation, I was looking at the MPC option and it does looks straight forward no complications, and also cheaper, I guess the main difference here is range right? If I do the Ford OEM parts I'm I right to asume I'll be able to start the car farther than the current key fob that I have today works? and with the MPC I guess I'll have the same range as of today since I'm not changing key fobs? Thanks
  2. Hey everyone, I’m on the hunt for the best way to install a remote start on my 2022 SE Edge. As I mentioned in the title, I have a 2022 SE model, and I’ve been looking through various topics on the forum, but I can’t seem to find any information specifically tailored to my car. The guides I found are for older models, and I’m hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
  3. This is a lot of very clear information @Haz and confirms the fact that the car does not have the capability, I checked on the place the TCU is suppose to be and is not there so that confirms it as well. Now, does that means that I cannot get any future FW updates? for SYNC? is there any other way to perform those updates? Thanks a lot for you help !
  4. yeah I’m sure it’s an export thing… however I was wondering if this can be re-enabled with something like Forscan or FDRS
  5. I see your point but my problem is that I cannot even get into a menu to select a list of available networks. The option is disabled
  6. Thanks for your reply, I went to the page and register and it basically tells me that my car has automatic updates, but I need to enable the wifi settings to get the updates, and the problem is I cannot enable the wifi settings
  7. Hey guys, wanted to ask help here with something I've been unable to find information about anywhere else. I recently got a brand new Ford Edge SE 2022 and I love it but I have a problem: First let me start by saying this, I live in Panama, that's where I got the car on a local Ford dealership, the car as far as I can tell from the VIN was built in Canada. Here is the problem: one of the first thing I tried when I got home was trying to check if there was any software updates for the Sync system, but to my surprise I'm unable to connect the car to a WiFi Network simply because the option on the connectivity menu its unavailable as you can see from the pictures. I'm able to use my iPhone with CarPlay no problem and able to connect my iPhone via Bluetooth no problem either to play music that way, but unable to connect the car to my iPhone hotspot or any other WiFi network at all. I already tried to do a factory reset on the sync system and it did but still have the same problem. All I can think is that this is some kind of international country restrictions, I don't know, and I need help figuring this out. Has anyone seen this before? or know how to work around it? I've seen on some posts here and elsewhere that some people use a software called FORScan do to some bypassing an enabling / disabling features, but can't find this specific issue there. Appreciate any help anyone can provide Thanks
