  1. Sorry, I haven’t been on in a while! But I didn’t take any pictures unfortunately. My wheel was all set to have the paddles installed. After getting the wheel off the car it was as easy as: Remove rear cover, remove original wire harness, install paddle shifters (all mounting holes are already in the wheel) install wire harness (this one has 4 connectors 1 for each shifter, 1 to the clock spring and 1 to other buttons) and finally install new rear cover (it has cutouts for the paddles) after I put everything back in the car, the paddles worked flawless. No drilling, no soldering, no cutting or splicing. It was literally 100% plug and play. This was easier than installing my dash cam!
  2. It took me a while, but I finally added the paddle shifters. I bought a used wheel off ebay for $100 and made sure it had the shifters. Some of the buttons were different and the wheel itself wasn't the nicest. So, I decided to swap the components I needed to my factory wheel, the shifters, rear trim piece and the wiring harness. After getting everything swapped over and re-installed, I hoped for the best but expected the worst. (Warning lights, it not working, etc...) but everything works perfect! A while back I checked the transmission parameters with a scanner and it said "select shift up input high" "select shift down input high" this had me hoping the ecu was able to see a manual shift command if I added the paddles. I'm very happy it all works!
  3. Looks like there's only one way to find out. I'll have to get a wheel with paddles on it and install it. Update to come soon!
  4. I added a sub to my 2022 Edge SEL I got a kit from Rockville audio. I think in total I spent less than $300 for everything. I used the high level input on the sub to get sound. I used splice connectors to tap into the rear speaker wires so I could feed the audio signal to the Amp. No head unit replacement or any crazy modifications of any kind. Just took a while to do but the results were worth it at the time. I did have a capacitor in line with the sub too. Just some extra protection for the electronics and I had 0 problems with it at all. I recently removed it because my sub kept falling over and yanking on the wires ?? It was a narrow unit and sounded decent. I just didn't want to drill holes into the seats or cargo floor to make mounting brackets.
  5. I have a 2022 Ford Edge SEL. My model didn't come with paddle shifters and I want to add them. I've done a couple of custom mods to it. I added an adapter to my recirculation valve, a cold air intake and some exhaust modifications. I'd love to have paddle shifters so I can take full advantage of my mods. I hooked my scan tool (Snap-On Solus Edge) to it and it shows the "select shift" inputs in the TCM. I can get a used wheel with the paddle shifters. Is there a consensus on if it would work? Or would there be some additional programming I'd need to have done to it?
