I have the Michelin Latitude Tours on my 98 Explorer. Very smooth and quiet. It remains to be seen how they will fare in the snow in West Virginia!

I just did the first oil change on our 2008 Limited at 3300 miles. When I looked at the oil filter from the bottom, I could see a small drop of oil as if from a small leak. When I tried to remove the oil filter it was really on tight. I finally used a pipe wrench (big one!) to get it moving. Do you think it was over tightnend at assembly to stop a leak? I didn't need to over tighten the new one and it doesn't leak.
