It cost me ~150 for it, I thought why not try to change it. If they couldn't take it out then I will remove the lens last resort. I am not fan of gluing stuff. After a while with humidity the glue may not stick. I ended up paying 100 to the auto mechanic. They spent some time trying to remove the top but after that it was smooth sailing. Credit goes to this forum

Great news. I was able to replace the brake light. It was incredibly difficult to remove the top. Thank you all for all of your help. I ended up going to a mechanic

I was actually thinking of doing that. I got the amazon one . I will try to get an auto mechanic to see if they can replace the whole thing. If not I will pull of the lens from the new one and glue it on the light. Hope it sticks . It's so frustrating. Thank you. Do you know which one I can try on amazon or eBay? I see so many. Mine the brake light works fine and displays red not white, it's the glass cover that's gone.

Hello All, it looks like the sound of the seatbelt when not worn is deactivated. How do you active the Alarm when the seat belt is not worn? Is it the same process as disabling it?
