  1. I think that the drivers passenger side cushion cover, leather, stone, is available CT4Z-7862901-EA, and the left and right back covers leather (1???) stone CT4Z7864417EA (left) and CT4Z7864416EA (right). MSRP is $383 for the seat backs (each) and cushion covers are $208. I don't know the difference between leather 1 and leather 2, but all leather 2 is charcoal, so probably the Sport specific pattern? And of course the drivers cushion that will get the most wear is the one that is no longer available. CT4Z-7862900-EA is the one that you can't get.
  2. Since it is intermittent, I would start with the wiring to the transmission, look for bad pins, cracked wires, etc. The TRS is internal to the 6F50, and its connector inside the transmission connects to the main connector. Yes, it would be a lot in labor as you have to drain the transmission, gain access to the top of the transmission, remove the pan, cooler pipe (I think this might be different for different years), TSS, OSS, main control (valve body), and the specialty tools. I would guess 5 hours labor, I think the parts cost is high since an OEM TRS is $90, and the gaskets and filter needed are $350 (the rest of that parts quote).
  3. Last afternoon I testing this out after your post. The camera was in full sun for 5+ hours at 105-112 degrees, and it didn't show any anomalies when I tried it out. This is one of the first Fords with a backup camera that I haven't had issues with. My 2015 Fusion it is currently not reversed, so things on the display to the left are actually on the right. Usually it is blue screen, static screen, or "no signal" displayed. My 2017 Escape it somehow started showing the entire license plate and bumper and only a sliver of the ground behind, never would show another cars bumper, for example.
  4. Generally the battery is good for ~10 years, so you might be at the end of life for one or them all. I finally had an intermittent one in a 2010 Fusion, but so far they are still working in my 2012. Personally I buy very cheap sets off Amazon (for the 2010, for spare winter rims and tires for 2015 Fusion) and they work at as long as the life of the tires so far. Is it a solid TPMS light indicating a low tire, or a blinking one and saying system fault? There are other reasons for faults, my 2017 Escape gave intermittent issues due to a dash cam, then due to a cheapo USB power point (also affected keyless entry distance, needed to be within 5 feet to unlock).
  5. The thing is, I use wireless charging almost exclusively. I have charging pads on my office desk, I built one into my nightstand. Only if I need to very quickly charge it (down to 20% and going someplace in an hour) do I charge with a cable. 10w/15w charging on all the other pads, and it gets slightly warn but not enough to disable charging, which happens on the charging pad in my Edge (and I think to open air slot on the 2020 Explorer). As a matter of fact I frequently use my cell phone as a wireless charger and charge up my older phone and my airpods case using Battery Share. I will try foil on a printed cover and see if it causes faults, if not that is what I will go with. If so, I will disconnect the connector to it.
  6. Many of my Qi wireless charging pads freak out ( flash on and off ) when I place anything solid metal on them, like a soda can or a stainless cup or foil. The air gap needs to be about 20mm it seems. I have mine plugged in as well, but the wireless charging pad turns on even if not charging the phone, and it gets hot, when I put my phone in the cubby.
  7. The wireless charging pad is terrible. I have a 2019 so SYNC 3 so wired Android Auto and Apple Carplay. I plug into a cable for that and for charging. If I store the phone in the cubby it turns on wireless charging, and it charges slower than it is used (so battery drains), gets super hot, and eventually stops charging. So I either need to 3d print something to put in the cubby so that wireless charging doesn't turn on (something with foil on it, if it doesn't freak out the charger) disconnect the module pull the fuse, and lose lumbar (which I use a lot on 12+ hour trips) get longer cables and stop leaving then phone in the cubby I use wireless charging nearly 100% of the time, I have them all over the house. The phone gets warm in them, but charges correctly (not super quick but plenty fast overnight).
  8. Anything upstream and common to both banks could cause this. I would suspect the canister/evap purge valve. Common failure and common set of codes to be set at the same time. It is probably always pulling in gas vapors causing the rich condition. There are ways to test it without firing the parts cannon at it, I found a few posts on this site with details and with pointers to videos and other sites with information why it happens and how to test it.
  9. Ford has some, depending on what year you have and remote start or not (I assume a 2023), like https://accessories.ford.com/products/keyless-entry-keypad-for-vehicles-with-factory-remote-start-2 They are pretty fugly, depending on the color of the vehicle (light or dark) I would have a hard time putting this in a visible place. Depending on your environment, many people installed them in the wheel wells or other hidden places. I don't know if the hidden in the B pillar trim type can be retrofitted or not, probably not easily.
  10. My 2019 was built 1/04/2019 so not subject to this recall, but it is 1 of 3 outstanding on my 2015 Fusion (which is 900 miles away and driven by my daughter). She has recall malaise from taking it in for at least 4 other recalls. She is a teacher so now is the time to get them taken care of (I can't talk, I have one remaining airbag recall on my 2012 Fusion). I think of the 3 recalls still outstanding, she has taken it in for one of them previously, and it was updated.
  11. I think I have seen other posts on trying to get to a dedicated server, or something better, but I rarely can check this site once or twice a day (or a hundred...) without it usually being unresponsive or out of quota. I have lost a few posts that didn't get posted because it died between composing and posting. I want to be active, try to contribute, and use all that has already been posted to improve my ride and diagnose issues, but it just doesn't seem to be up to the task. The other boards I am on, for long ago platforms that are decades since last produced, have double/significantly more traffic and no down time, working inline images not the size of stamps. I am not a paying member, and rarely ever will unless there is a pay off (I have been active enough to be a premium member, and moderate a sub board), and I get that these aren't free and whatever is used to pay for them like ads or cosponsors are hard to eek out staying a float. Just my first post and details I got would be worth paying a fee for if I wasn't a cheap person I guess. I usually stay around until I am kicked off for a view that others don't enjoy, I haven't had a Crown Vic for 5 years but am still active on that board (I have a million pictures of things, a hoard of parts to give away, and nursed one to over 330,000 miles so know some tricks).
  12. "in local news, a 2019 Edge, a car port, and part of a house mysteriously caught fire" I was checking the oil level after changing it a few days ago, seeing if I had a heat blanket on the hood, and if I had more flowers and leaves to blow out of air inlets on the cowl when I spotted this: It looked squished and dead, but to be sure I got the wife to protect me, and it unfolded and took off when she poked it with a not long enough stick. I squealed a little, then she got it on the ground and stomped it. No fire needed, but that was my go to. I don't think the critters like me doing maintenance or washing/detailing my vehicles. This is what I had prowling me when I replace the cat/o2 sensors/spark plugs, and detailed my 2015 Fusion (it is a wasp, really poor pictures):
  13. Phone connection is not needed, it has a built in AT&T LTE modem that it uses for SyncConnect and Connected (Built-In) Navigation. No idea what your current Fords are, and if the built in maps are similar between SYNC 3 and SYNC 4/4a or not. I don't know if it includes map updates during the complimentary period and if you pay or not to continue, or if you can buy updated maps or a subscription just for them and not the connection part.
  14. You have an SEL or higher with the Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ package (or Titanium Lux package or ST High package)? The "Connected Built-In Navigation" after the 3 years and a service contract not extended becomes "offline navigation" simply using your GPS and built in maps. The data for the connected part uses the vehicles modem (gas stations, weather, parking, traffic, hazards, etc). They tout it as better than Android Auto or Apple CarPlay because it will work when cell service is spotty, but that is the GPS and local maps stuff, the connected stuff would be as affected. Personally I download the maps for the places I know are spotty or I know I will be going for Google Maps since I use Android Auto, but I never have any issues even when I can't stream music (for a few minutes at a time). They still haven't announced the Connected Built-In Navigation cost, the Connected Navigation is $80 a year.
  15. That is the concentrate, and what you need to do, not them!
  16. Motorcraft says that it is a 50/50 mixture with "treated (purified) water".
  17. I searched and found no reference to it, but I don't know what to search on other than dummy plug. There are no pins or a shunt, just a place to plug one of the wiring connectors in while it is unplugged for some reason. I have had these with wiring for SPOUT connector to lower timing if pinging, a way to force the fuel pump always on, but this is my first blank one. What is this for on my 2019 2.0?
  18. My older vehicles, once they got some miles on them and would burn oil, I would add that extra pint or 2 to make it to the very top of the fill line so I could go the 5,000 miles without adding, but not there yet I hope with 66,000 miles and 4 years. But 5.5 quarts takes mine to between the top of the cross hatched area and the upper hole that would fill in, so don't think that added .5 quart would be wise.
  19. Is the USB drive plugged in, and you can select it as a source (by name)? I had a backup USB drive with songs in folders by artist then album, and I am pretty sure I was able to get it to shuffle play (other option was Repeat, with 3 ways to repeat). This was a 2017 Escape with SYNC 3 3.0, I haven't tried in my 2019 Edge with SYNC 3 3.4 (different interface). I think it was a similar interface to when I would use apps like Pandora via bluetooth (but I almost always use Android Auto).
  20. 2019 SEL (but all have auto high beams), when I first got it, when the auto high beam headlamps would go on the blue high beam indicator would also. Now the best indicator (besides the not always as obvious longer range illumination...) is the fog light indicator turns off. I have played around with manually selecting high beams, turning off auto high beams, and back on, but it still doesn't turn on the blue indicator on the dash. I find I turn off auto high beams because it frequently turns them on and blinds people at a 90 degree angle to my travel (like at a stop sign or even at stop light), and it tends to go on and off frequently with the red reflectors on the ground, so people think I am flashing them, with my already obnoxiously bright low beams and turning on and off my fog lights.
  21. I use a floor jack and use the connectors for the front and rear "frames" to the unibody "frame rail" that runs the length between the wheels, maybe near what used to be called the torque box? I had jack stands that had the slot for the pinch weld but they failed and all the new ones no longer have a slot, so I need to come up with a solution like you need, but I don't have rust issues.
  22. Funny you should say that. I am 5'11" and my wife is 4'11". I have to save the limit to open slightly lower than max for her on the Edge. On our 2017 Escape I had to set it 8 inches down from the max, and it was right where my eyeball would be skewered on the corner (and it happened every time...) The hatches open completely different between the two vehicles. I am guessing due to the more extreme angle of the Edge back window/hatch and the more upright hatch and window on the Escape. I fell all the lost space in the Edge with the angle of the back window.
  23. This was at 40k miles in my 2015 Fusion: My 2017 Escape was the same. The Fusion suffers from the 1-2 harsh shift (mostly when cold), the Escape the transmission shifted like butter, no issues up to 97,000 when it was wrecked.
  24. Mercon LV has a very dark color package to it (unlike Mercon V which is bright red), and it is very common for it to be very dark even after as low as 30k miles. Ford had an SSM in 2009 when more vehicles started using Mercon LV that is normal and color should not be the only thing used to determine transmission health. I did my first drain on a 6F35 at 40k miles and thought I drained the crankcase instead. As you mention it doesn't smell burnt, sounds like it is normal Mercon LV fluid. To do a close to 100% drain you have to perform the drain and refill 3 times. I just did a single drain/refill at 40k, 60k, and 80k. Still well ahead of the normal scheduled maintenance for normal use.
