  1. A closer pic - not the clearest or latest. This is what i have now, im out of the country at the moment to take an actual picture.
  2. Hi All, Previously asked questions here unrelated to this and received excellent feedback so i thought to pose this question here. Firstly, I think i have the Ford Sync (1) system in my Edge. See picture, its the screen with the 4 blocks on the home screen. Navi is activated by long press of the Voice button on steering. Secondly, As this is the family car i personally hardly drive it. My wife does without any complaints. I drive an old VW Golf and i recently upgraded the head unit in the Golf to a cheap chinese android HU and while its glitchy, i really love the android auto connectivity giving me access on screen to Waze and YT music. I always thought that i was happy with the big phone mount, using my phone for Waze, connected BT to the car for streaming. I guess you can agree, the cheap chinese HU changed my life. So much so that now i'm looking for options to update the Ford Sync unit to something with Android/Apple connectivity. What are the suggestions? Is there a plug in module or is it a complete replacement of screen/OEM unit? *Ignore the rear screens, those work perfect on their own for the kids
  3. Thanks @Haz, I will report back soon.
  4. Manually, it opens and closes with no issues.
  5. Hi All, Recently, i have been experiencing some issues with the powerlift trunk. About a few weeks ago, it slowed down on open and close. When closing, it would sometimes not latch and then open slightly. It would open again when the exterior trunk open button is pressed. But, it would not close by pressing the button on the inside of the trunk door. I would have to manually close it. I am suspecting the powerlift struts and possibly motor. Any suggestions? As always, its very difficult to get clear answers from the UAE dealership. Its easier with this forums understanding. Thanks, Arbee
  6. I opted to replace both rear shocks at the Dealership. Also installed a fresh set of tyres, there was no stock of the PS4S SUV, so i went for the Bridgestone Potenza.
  7. I need these! Poor guys at the tyre shop struggled to get the nuts off, they are warped so they get stuck on the wrench.
  8. Thanks all. Just an update, confirmed with Al Tayer motors that the shocks are not covered under warranty. @Haz kindly sent me a load of info on my car and Al Tayer confirmed some of the TSB's were done, there is one that is remaining. They will complete that when the car goes in for the rear shocks, i have been given a good discount, just waiting for the shocks - 2 weeks wait.
  9. Any help would be appreciated. My Service Plan is exhausted, i had the 3 year package for service only. Warranty is 5 year 100k. Probably not the best package.
  10. I do have warranty, they advised that a leaking shock is wear and tear and is not covered under warranty.
  11. I see you also in the Middle East!
  12. Hey All, So my Ford Edge Sport has a leaking shock, rear left. Ford quoted me 800aed per shock. Which is about the cost of a set of BC Racing Coilovers. What would you suggest? Go to coilovers? Has anyone made this change, what brand of coilover did you use and how is the comfort, drive etc? Thanks, Arbee
  13. Nice! I didnt even think to look for a forum. I have a 16 Edge Sport, 2.7 6cyl twin turbo. Bought it brand new in 2018 - Its just over 70k km now and going really well.
