I have a 2009 the switch is a little different I was thinking about hooking up power to the switch but I was not sure if the leds were in the newer ones and how much that would distract you at night ? Great job on your mod , How long did it take you ?

Put the leds Front Map Lamps: 2825 (W5W ford) had a few extra and found out that they fit in my License Plate ...Now that I did all the nice color leds my wife wants me to change the puddle lights. But I wanted to buy some new replacements just in case I mess up . I called a local ford dealer and they said $300 for the whole mirror and I could not get they separate.. !!

Got both boxes in the mail a day apart they look great in the Edge. A bit slippery but my Dog like them

Well I got the LEDs I could of used 39 mm LED Festoon Bulbs in all the back 3 in the map and dome light and one in the cargo .. I went off the spec in the manual. But I ordered 36mm LED Festoon Bulbs. I also have the wedge ones I installed and took back out. They look great but at night you can see a Tiny small light emitting from the center led. Not sure if that is normal for those bulbs I am thinking of seeing if I can of getting 39mm 239 C5W Xenon White 8 LED Festoon Bulb 12V cause the ones I have only have 6 LEds The crazy thing is I put the stock ones in but pull one out and put in stock one back in it shut the low emitting light off ?

I am getting to the point that I Don't want to wash my Edge anymore.. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: And one of the reasons I bought a Brand New car was so I didn't hear "Well you are buying a USED car" Am I looking to hard ?

What make is it ? I like Lund they set them up with not drilling one hole. I HAD ONE ON MY Explorer . I was thinking of getting a crome one for my Edge

Here is one more shot.... Sent these 2 pictures offf to the salesman that worked with us. I was told sometimes when they play around with your car it sometimes makes it worse. I know after I washed it from getting it back on Saturday for the other 10 issues NONE of them were mechanical there is over spray that I will clean off with a clay bar. I think the dealership is thinking I am a big :censored: and I don't like to :beatdeadhorse: but when you see the Canadian price tag.. Am I expecting too much ?

its in the paint I tried wax an you could feel if it was over spray . Plus its never the same when a small body shop paints it . Never as hard as the factory. Its not like its a new color or a new style. I am left speechless. And i notice the same orange peel, its not a smooth paint but I can live with that ..(not really for the price I paid) You figured if they want loyalty in their customers they would produce a good product all around.

I had a 09 Limited order took extra time due to shut downs. Well I am really confused about how things can pass QC . I notice several areas on my Dark Ink Blue that I was not too happy with. like the tailgate area thin paint you can see the reddish in the radius around the License plate. the front passenger door had faded clear coat and you can sander swirl marks in the paint. but 2 two weeks for the Dealer fix those areas and I picked it up and seen in some bright sun light behind ALL 4 DOOR HANDLES is the same thin paint . I am not sure if I should call Ford direct or call the dealer that gave me a hard time about the quality .. That's another story... I only had the edge for a month and 2 weeks it was getting fix?
