2008 Edge SEL (FWD) - I'm getting a Check Brake Fluid Level warning every morning that goes away after 5-10 minutes of driving, and am wondering if anyone else has run into this. I'm not noticing any performance issues with the brakes. The fluid level was at the minimum line in the reservoir, so I topped it off to max....but the warning light continues when the temperature drops below 45 degrees. I don't want my brake failing when it actually freezes. Any thoughts before I take it in?
Right now, by uncap the reservoir while the engine is idling - read something about the ABS vales needing to be in the open position....?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
