So 1500 total - you are an experienced tower (if thats a word) - would you do it on my edge - which is 130k miles - transmission fluid etc changed recently and regular oil changes - have to drive from VA to Toronto - so almost 800 miles. I was planning to get the small trailer - fit my very light sofa - bed frames - tv - mattress and clothes/kitchen utensils.

Yeah but if I get the tow package right. The normal non tow wouldn't get it even if I get it from the dealer.

I would probably be contacting some companies tomorrow to see what kind of rates they do give In one other comment, you mentioned that if I do an aftermarket installation, it would be 1,500 lb Max. In a case that I do go with factory installation, how much more weight can I carry? As for the self installation, I am kind of a DIY kind of a guy but the problem is that I have very limited time remaining and I need to move from Virginia to Ontario and I would rather pay someone to get the job done. Also, if I do the job I might do a much poorer job than some professional doing it.

I have a Ford Edge 2015 SEL 2.0 model - I want to tow a small trailer from UHaul for about 600 miles from US to Canada. Should I get this installation done or go through UHaul which would cost around $400 - any benefits of going through the dealership in terms of capacity etc? Also how much would I be able to tow? I have never towed so these questions might be very basic.

I’m looking to get a VIOFO Dash Cam A119 Mini 2 with their HK4 connector. 1. Does it work out of the box? 2. Do I need a connector or putting it on 12v outlet work with parking mode? 3. If I need to hardwire, which fuse is the best? sorry I’m a noob here and despite reading a lot of posts I don’t want to try and test it. FORD EDGE 2015 SEL

I have 2015 Ford Edge SEL without PowerLift gate - will this part still work?

I can see a lot of threads on this but not really on my model and the resolution or parts of it. I got a check engine light 2 days back and on checking with the OBD II scanner - I found its the P1450 I havent seen any issues - no sounds - no driving issues - I did realize that the mpg has gone to 17 but that could very well be because of snowing lately. Usually I get 20ish mpg I need suggestions: Should I try removing the code and observe if it comes back? Should I just get the purge valve and replace it - if yes, does anyone has instructions on it (and where can I get the purge Valve from) Should I get it done by someone - what should be the charges? Honestly I have never worked on my car before so it would be new for me but I am ready to put effort to save a 100 bucks. Bonus: I am in Virginia so if anyone knows any shop which will be cheap and let me watch this - I can go there. Finally, safe to drive for about 400-500 miles?
