I mean if charging is the normal practice, I will suck it up and pay. Yet all the info I can find on these forums and the Facebook groups is that he doesn't charge for updates even with much larger mods and tons of data logging. That's the entire reason I chose unleashed vs the others was the after sale support. I could be wrong and if so I will eat crow and admit it.

What I was looking for was anyone else who has Unleashed and can chime in. Did they get charged for updated tunes? Is this normal? Or is he salty that I did not buy the part from him and is making me pay.

Ambiguous? It specifically states that it includes post calibration support. It does not have any exclusions listed at all. And how would the FMIC that was never installed need any support from the previous owner?

I have purchased the E30 performance tune, and 93 performance tune and a tow tune. I originally purchased the SCTX4 and tunes for another vehicle from unleashed. As well as the RMM. It's on a 2016 Edge Sport. I recently purchased and installed a FMIC on my Unleashed tuned Edge. I emailed Torrie and asked about updating the tune to take advantage of the mod. He asked if I purchased the intercooler from him, I said I did not, explaining that I bought one from a forum member that was new in box. He proceeded to email me back and said he will charge $100 to calibrate. On the Unleashed site it says the tune includes post sale calibration. Is this normal?

Ok, got the FMIC installed today. I decided to take out the entire AGS system. I now realized I made a mistake. My hood latch warning light is staying on and preventing me from using remote start. Also ambient air sensor is popping up too. Is there a way to bypass this or turn off with forscan? On a positive note the temps have dropped to about 20° above ambient on a 0-100 pull.

Hey everyone I thought at one point I had seen a install guide somewhere on here for the FMIC, but can't seem to find it. I also wanted to replace the lower grill with a more open one to maximize the effects, any suggestions?

Pulled the trigger. Now for a few runs pre install and post install. I will try to get as close as I can on DA with dragy.

I will do 3 runs on E30 with same mods on dragy, install the IC then do 3 more runs. I will try to get as close to the same DA as I can. Also I am getting lighter weight wheels and will do the same for those.

I am on stock 21's with stock tires. Previous owner rashed the rims pretty badly in a few spots, just found out one rim is bent... I am going to buy new rims and tires. I would like to step down to lighter 20's and still keep an all season tire. I appreciate the replies. Power isn't what I was expecting. I apologize if it came off that way. I was just wanting to know an average reduction in 1/4 times due to the power not being dialed back from heat soak. Also one last question, does the front grill by the FMIC need opened up? I came across conflicting information.

I have searched all the threads and have a few questions left. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have yet to see any definitive results from a FMIC install, I have seen many people promise to post either Dyno/dragy/slips, but never seem to. Let's say I'm running E30 in my Edge Sport, full weight 401A/Pano/stock 21" rims on unleashed tune. I currently run 13.4 - 13.5 what would a typical improvement be? Also, as far as I have researched nobody but Ultimate Performance makes a FMIC for the Edge Sport. I have seen a few of these with horrifying welds and cracking issues. Have they resolved those issues? And what is the warranty on the FMIC?
