Awesome!!! Thank you!! So I'm thinking of going to a location on base here and seeing if they can bleed off the refrigerant for me. I can do that and drive it back home without damage to the compressor right? The compressor should failsafe seeing there's no refrigerant and not engage? Really don't want to buy an AC compressor.
I'll have them recharge it when I'm done.
Haz, I'll look over all the docs and make sure I get everything.
Thinking through all this, would it be a problem going with the 210A alternator in place of the 175A? I would think that the car will only draw what it needs as it needs it. So that will be a cakewalk for accessories. Just trying to make sure there is not going to be any issue. I at first was wanting to make sure I got all the facts, now I'm wanting to see if I can facilitate the bigger alternator.
One more quick question... So, the guy in that Ford Fusion video said the tensioner pulley bolt was reverse threaded, aka, righty-tighty actually loosened tension...is that the case or no?
All this and now, I need to replace the brakes because they are grinding..... I need beer...
Woohoo carworking weekend is coming!!!
Seriously, if anyone wants to bring their Edge over and help me do all this and then I'll help them with work they have, we'll make a party of it!!
