I ordered a set of 4 (now called wheel skins ..not hub caps or wheel disks) from a firm in North Carolina. They match my original silver alloy wheels exactly and fit over top. Will be putting them on in the spring. In my book they look real nice :-)

Not so! Not any phone with blutooth capabilities will work with Sync. I recently went though a nightmare trying to get my new cell phone Samsung SPH540 to work with Sync. After numerous calls/emails to Samsung and Ford Customer Service, no one had an answer for my frustration. Might be nice if Ford would update the Sync list of compatible phones. Furthermore if one takes time to read the forums, they will see there are numerous phones that won't work or have problems with. For the record I ended up returning my Samsung SPH R540 in exchange for a Nokia E71 that works great, but not on the tested Sync list.

I took my 2008 Ford Edge with 4000KM on it to the local dealer on Monday. The service manager at my local Ford Dealership did some checking on the computer and said it was the heater core. He checked stock on availability of a heater core and said bring it in tomorrow Tuesday, but it may take 2 days to do the work. I asked about a loaner (since it is my only vehicle) and he said sure. My Edge was ready before lunch on Wednesday (1 1/2 days). They even washed it as well as cleaning the inside. I can almost fry an egg in it now it gets so hot :-) Hats off to my local Ford Dealer and staff in Niagara ON Canada [/size][/size]

I have a 2008 Ford Edge SEL with 4000km on it. I too have the ticking noise and was told it's the injectors warming up. My transmission I would say shifts the same as yours. The main 2 issues I have is: poor heat in both drivers vents, yet passenger's vents are fine and condensation in the front driver's side headlight lens and rear driver's tail light lens. No matter what I di with the air flow or up/down temp settings I notice no difference .. hmmmm ******************************************************************************** ********************************

I have basically the same problem with my 2008 Ford Edge, which is very poor heating on driver's side especially. I bought my new Ford Edge in August of 2008. Very happy with everything then including great air conditioning. This winter I've noticed the driver's side 2 vents hardly produce any warm air no matter how high I set it. The passenger's side is fine. When i'm driving the driver's vents send a bit of warm air but at idle it's almost a cool breeze, yet the passenger side never changes .. always constant warmth. I'm thinking it could be the thermostat .. almost makes me think the Ford Edge has 2 of them??? I would appreciate any help in this matter ..thanks
