  1. That's an impressive looking vehicle. I doubt we will ever get to see it over here though
  2. Hi Walt, welcome to the forum.
  3. I thought they ended the Ford Bronco years ago. I guess this must be a new model?
  4. Big gap for the 70s and 80s there. Was the '67 Fairlane an old car at the time you had it?
  5. Welcome. That's a lovely colour Edge. Is it a Titanium?
  6. Agreed. Yet there are people out there who claim the whole thing was a hoax!
  7. Yes, I was surprised that there was only one rear fog-light fitted to my Edge, as all my previous Fords in recent times had two. It's fitted on the offside of the car (which is on the RHS here in UK), which isn't a problem unless you need to use it overseas! I guess the European models on the continent have their single lamp on the left?
  8. Very true. People drive very fast on British motorways. 90mph is commonplace despite the 70mph speed limit. There are some who consider 70mph the minimum speed - even in heavy fog!
  9. I had no idea these were not standard on all cars in the USA. I agree it is very annoying and distracting when people use them when they shouldn't, but they really do help visibility and mitigate against multiple pile-ups on the motorway (freeway) in heavy fog - cars without them can often be rendered practically invisible in the mist until it is too late! The fog lamps on the European spec Edge are very discrete - in the reflector strip of the rear bumper. It looks quite orangey in this pic but is bright red in real life!
  10. Great selection of Fords there. You should post some pics of them.
  11. Welcome to you in colton oregon
  12. My 2 litre 210 HP diesel will be out of warranty this September. There is an option to extend the warranty for a further three years under the Ford Protect scheme, but at a cost of £700 (€820 / US$970). It seems to cover most things, but for those of you who have older versions of the diesel, do you think it is worth it? Ford Protect.pdf
  13. Hello Ryan, welcome to the forum.
  14. Hi there Buddy. Welcome to the Forum. Do you have any pics of your Edge you would like to share with us?
  15. Cheers CV. Unfortunately however the powerful ST model as you know it is not available on this side of the pond. Our ST-Line models here share the same 210HP twin turbo diesel engines fitted to all other Edges. The ST-Line is essentially a Sport dressed in ST clothes with a few added extras.
  16. You should come over here and drive around the North Circular in the rush hour Ben - that'll soon get your pre-collision alerts flashing! Hanger Lane - the UK's scariest junction! https://www.newsflare.com/video/88969/crime-accidents/hanger-lane-gyratory-crash
  17. It wasn't service records but I had very similar problems when using that site. Gave up eventually.
  18. I looked it up. They are called door panels, which makes sense really. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Door_card)
  19. I would say it Sell-eek-uh. So what are door cards in American English then?
  20. Ah... I'd never heard the term "lug-nut" before and had to google it! We just call them wheel nuts over here. Guess it's another of those differences we have when describing car parts, tools and stuff - like spanner/wrench, tyre/tire, bonnet/hood, boot/trunk, petrol/gas......
  21. Howdy! Welcome to the forum. Do you have any pcs of your silver Edge you can share with us?
  22. Welcome to the forum. I am pleased you like your new Edge. You must share some pics of it with us when it arrives.
