I have a number of Ford Edge keys where the membrane and the buttons below it do not work. The key can actually start the car w/o any issues. I have purchased a key fob for the key where the key controls the ignition and the fob unlocks the doors. This is crazy. Is there a way to replace the key and remove the buttons and move them into a new device that will work? Even just to replace the button and membrane?

I have a 2013 Ford Edge and I replaced the batterywith a bigger battery and with a warranty. Today was to 4th day with temp between 30-40deg and "check charging system turn power off to save battery" warning appeared and car is dead. Any ideas what is happening?

What did you end up doing? does it replace the heat controls also?

I find the last system that the URL was provided a little costly. Are there other systems that are similar that look like they are part of car (where I do not need to leave mouldings off or cut) post install? Can you provide links to products, please?

Has anyone replaced the garbage Sync and radio found in the 2013 (or like) Ford Edge with a Boss Android auto system? If so what components from the Ford did you need to remove and if there is molding that you needed to purchase in it's place?
