I don't think so.

So was out cleaning up the interior and had the engine idling. About every 15 seconds the idle would slow a bit with the lower idle shudder, and then recover to normal. Like is would slow 75 rpm and then recover. Any ideas? Haven't checked for a code yet and now light on the dash. Car runs fine otherwise. 2017 Edge Sport 2.7L

How to remove plastic cover under pax seat
F4Gary replied to F4Gary's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
Got it! Was not the module pictured above. The one mounted on the floor has the plastic cover. It is held on by 3 of those infernal metal clips that make it easy for the factory to pop it on and next to impossible for an owner to pop back off without breaking something.? Got it off and had to modify and reinstall one of the metal clips. Thanks Haz for your effort. ? -
How to remove plastic cover under pax seat
F4Gary replied to F4Gary's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
Thanks Haz, is that module mounted on the floor or up under the seat? I'm talking about the module mounted on the floor. Haven't had a chance to go look for the torx screws. It seems like there is a fastener of some kind right in the center of the plastic guard. -
I dropped a bottle cap under the pax seat. I is next to whatever computer module is under there. Can't get to it due to the black plastic vented cover over the module. Anyone know how this cover comes off? I tried pulling up on it figuring it just snapped in place. Didn't want to break it and it didn't just pop off.

I ended up using the Ford hardware for the back and got my own bolts and J nuts from Ace Hardware. They fit really well.

Looks to me like I have to relocate the middle hole in the rear flaps. I will be taking the wheels off.
-
Just ordered these. How did you end up mounting them? With the included J nuts or with the original Ford push pins? Some of the reviews say they had trouble mounting them. Thanks.

X2 on the power folding mirrors.

We tow our Edge 4 down behind our motorhome and in doing so I have to disconnect the battery. If I didn't have to remove that cover piece, I wouldn't have to leave the car unlocked when I tow it. It is not made to routinely take it off and put it back on as it would wear out the clips that hold it on.

Such a crappy design. Should just have a hole in it for key access like most other manufacturers.

2019 Ford Edge ST Replacement Tire Options

I have the Verde AS Plus II on both my Edge Sport and my Silverado and I like them a lot. Quiet, good traction, good in the rain. Haven't been in snow though. -

Changing destination while driving

Triggered. Lol. I hardly text at home much less on the road. Why would I stare at the screen while my passenger types in an address? This is hilarious. -

I would like to know too. What is the difference with the rear? -

Most manufacturers allow it, so it's not "unsafe". -

How is it safer than the right seater doing it? -
Changing destination while driving

Really dumb. Could do it on our CRV and my Silverado. I guess it's a Ford nanny thing. -
I did a search and couldn't find anything. Is there a setting that will let a passenger fiddle with the navigation while I am driving? Seems stupid to not allow a passenger to change a destination when the car is in gear.

Yes, why do you want it off? Just curious.

O-2B...Bullshit Bomber. ?

I have about 1200 hrs in those. What a POS.

Why is there an ST forum, but not a Sport or combined ST/Sport forum? Also, why does Ford do an ST gathering, but not the Sport also? Just curious.

Which brake fluid should I be using out of these 4?

And replace it every 2-3 years... -
Daliner, once you have the sunvisor over to the side, you can slide it rearward on it's rod. Things I wish my 17 Sport had.... Power folding mirrors Available splash guards The ability to tilt open the sunroof and then close the shade most of the way for venting while parked and locked up. An exposed lock cylinder to manually unlock the drivers door. That removable plastic piece is dumb. Love going from 166 hp (CRV) to 315!
