@enigma-2 so if the connector is corroded obviously I would need a new one but is it plug and play or id have to splice a new connector in. And thank u for the help

Hey how’s it going. I have a 2012 Ford Edge sel. It’s the 3.5 v6 and awd. I’ve been having troubles with the backup camera and I’m curious if anyone had a solution for it. Basically the camera will not work for like a week and I’ll get an error message when In reverse. Then the next week it works fine. But for the past 4 months it hasn’t worked once. I’m curious if the camera is just bad or if there’s a fix I can do for it. Thanks

Hey so I have a 2012 Ford Edge, it’s the 3.5 v6 and it’s awd. So I’ve been having this issue where it’s slamming into a Lower gear. So I’ll be cruising in 6th year and be approaching a light or stop sign and as a stop the car will only drop into 4th gear and not 1st gear like it should. Then when I give it the slightest bit of gas it’s slamming into 1st gear and jerks you back into your seat quite violently. Is this a small issue or is a major one. Has anyone else had the same issues. If so please let me know

@Glassverd so the code reader pulled up nothing. Now I’m the car Boggs really badly from a stop when u give it gas. Gets 10 mpg. And isles like crap. Had spark plugs done at ford 10k miles ago. Any suggestions on what’s wrong?

Ok. I’m going to have to get a scan tool and check. Do u think it could be like a misfire because the spark plug weren’t gapped correctly by ford?

Ok. I have no check engine lights or anything. But could there still be codes?

Hey how’s it going. I have a 2012 Ford Edge 3.5 v6 and I’ve been having this issue for sometime now where at idle it’s running like garbage. It’s idling at like 500 rpm and the rpm goes up and down and is all over the place. Also every 15 seconds or so there is a loud bang when the rpm increases. I’ll try to attach a video. The vid doesn’t do its justice but it’s a lot louder in person. Also my mpg is a whopping 10 mpg. I had spark plugs done 15k miles ago at ford. I really think this is an issue with the plugs. Also the car Boggs a lot whenever u try and move from a stand still. It will hesitate that bogg really badly. Curious if any had the same issue. Caliper guide pin torque specs abs caliper bracket torque specs. Also side note. Where should I jack up the car from and put the jack stands for the front and rear

So I had spark plugs done about 10-15k miles ago. So I don’t think it’s the spark plugs unless I have some kind of bigger underlying problem and the plugs are fouled out. And also it’s a 2012 edge 3.5 awd

Hi my name is Dylan. I was wondering if anyone is having the same issue with there edge as I am. So it’s the 3.5 awd model and when the car is warm it randomly revs up and down. It will be at like 700-800 rpm and just randomly every 10-15 seconds rev up to like 1300 rpm and go back down. And I’m getting terrible fuel economy. I get like 9-10 mpg so something it obviously off. And yes I did check for a vacuum leak and found the pcv valve disconnected from the air box. So that helped with some other issues I was having but didn’t fix this current issue. I’m more concerned with the mpg right now. I’m filling up like 2 times a week. Someone pls let me know if u know a fix!!
