I have a Livernois My Calibrator Tuner for sale. Like new condition. It was stored in its box when not in use. It includes the touch screen device and ODB2 cable. I purchased it for my 2016 Ford Edge Sport. It says it should tune a 2015-2018 2.7 Ford Edge Sport according to the Livernois website. Will sell for $160 including shipping.

I am selling my bbk 1894 throttle body. I sold my vehicle and no longer need it. I used it for 3 months. It is like new. It will fit 2015 - 2017 Ford Edge 2.7 models. I will consider any reasonable offer. Thanks

That would have been an insane ride for my daily driver. But I would not have a license long with that much power. Hope you found a buyer.

Hey. I hope your tuning went well. My turbos were comp turbo technology upgrades. I never could solve the misfire and cel light on full throttle runs. I know it had to related to the upgraded turbos. I finally got tired of things not working as intended. I traded in my Edge in December.

Thanks. I will bug them over there for awhile if they allow me with my Ford edge.

Thanks for the response. I thought 373 whp was probably normal. I have modified comp technology turbos, ultra performance intercooler, cold side pipe, turbo smart bov, catch can, kn filter, 170 thermostat, motor mount. 450 hp at the crank? Surely not at the wheels with just upgraded compressor wheels. That would be insane. ? The zfg racing 93 tune has more power. I can feel the difference easily. But I wanted to solve the misfires which is why I drove to national speed. National speed told me it was a conservative dyno tune. Three people test drove it and said no problems were found. I drove it home with no problems. But after a few days the misfires are back again at wot. They told me to gap the plugs down or they would send me a tune with less boost. I don't want a slower tune. A problem would have shown on the dyno right? My only regret is not choosing a turbo rebuilder who had checked the wastegates. Comp turbo said they did not/would not adjust the wastegates. Could it be that the stock wastegates are not adjusted properly or one is broken/not sealing properly? I don't hear wastegate rattle. Would national speed have caught a waste gate issue? I will say it has a lot more lag than the stock turbos, which makes takeoffs feel slow. I tested the 0-60 with the modified turbos on the stock tune and best I could do was 6.1 seconds. There is just so much lag even with brake boosting on these turbos. I could do 5.8 on the stock turbos with stock tune consistently. Brake boosting on the stock turbos eliminated the lag and the tires would loose traction for a bit. Not now. I never had a single misfire while tuned with the stock turbos in a year and a half. But I wanted abit more power. Hmmm. Which leads me to think something isn't right with the turbos. Spent enough for now. Oh well. Thanks

Can anybody give me input? My dyno tune went well at national speed. The numbers were respectable 373 whp and 405 tq on 93 tune. Problem is it misfires with the paddle shifters. What is puzzling to me is I gave the vehicle to them with the stock tune and modified comp turbos. They told me on the dyno showed it running rich with the modified comp turbos. Why would this be with bigger turbos on the stock tune? They said it was pegged lower than their gauge could go at 10 Afr. They tuned it and said they leaned it out to 12 Afr. How can bigger turbos run rich?

That is an awesome build. I would buy a vehicle with those numbers for sure. That is approaching trackhawk numbers, which is my dream suv. Someday perhaps. AWD vehicles are fun.

So many replies I don't know where to begin. ? Anyway I dropped it off at National Speed in Richmond last weekend. It was supposed to be dyno tuned today, but apparently something went wrong. They never called me back today after getting it ready for the dyno. I drove down on the stock tune slowly. They called me today after replacing the plugs before the dyno and said it runs great/ fine on the stock tune after test driving it. I don't need to tune. lol. Yes, I drove 900 miles to change the spark plugs. Hopefully the dyno is what it needs to solve all the problems. I am not bringing it home until it runs fine tuned. Good luck to everyone tuning their vehicle.

Hi again, I have decided to dyno tune my ford edge after a year of problems with misfires and no clear answer with any place I take it in the Chicago area. Nobody around here is comfortable dyno tuning a ford edge so I am looking at two options. Livernois and National Speed in VA. I have talked to both and am on the list for Aug or Sept. My question is which one would you go with if you were going to pick one? Unfortunately remote tuning just didn't cut it for me. I tried ZFG and Unleashed and am done datalogging and replacing plugs every two weeks at $350 a pop with black fouled out plugs. My gut tells me that National Speed is my better option after speaking with them. I told them whatever is needed including replacing the cats or adding downpipes/custom exhaust? I am done with misfires and black plugs. What do you guys recommend? Who is better for installing and getting everything out of an ecoboost? Thanks

Finally got my zfg tune complete. Very strong 93 tune. The thing hauls butt. I just wanted to compare it to the stock tune so I loaded the stock tune. Same 0-60 on the stock tune with the bigger turbos. 5.8 seconds. Then I was on the highway playing with the paddle shifters and doing some pulls to 90 or so when the wrench light came on with the stock tune. I checked the code and it said overboost condition. Scared the crap out of me. I pulled over and reloaded the zfg tune and cleared the code. It never came back again. I was afraid to use the paddle shifters again, but did and the light didn't return. Power is still there. Did the stock tune likely cause the wrench light? Thanks

This is interesting. I had my turbos upgraded by Comp Turbo Technology also. But mine are 6 blade vs your 11 blade Xtra. I assume there is a difference in how they run or flow. Here is a photo of stock turbo and my modified Comp turbo.

Yep, I wanted a quick daily also. The Edge was quick stock, but then I wanted to try a tune after I found this place. But then after the Livernois tune I wanted more. Speed is addictive. ? My first new car as a kid was 95 Z28. I kept it stock back then because I couldn't afford to modify it. Also had a firebird formula with the same LT1 as the Z28. I just can't see myself getting in and out of those low riding cars now like when I was in my early twenties. I am drawn to the Jeep SRT and fast suvs now because I like to sit higher up. Those jeeps are expensive though. I would have thought that they were very reliable considering you don't really need to modify something that fast to begin with. If I did buy a car now it would probably be a Stinger GT or Charger SRT. But then again those are low riders to me. I am getting ready to start tuning with ZFG racing again soon. I liked the way the tune ran before my engine problems. After my replacement 2.7L was installed I was told that my one turbo wasn't spinning properly. So I sent my comp turbos to be inspected. Was told that due to the engine problems my one turbo was full of carbon on the back of the turbine wheel and wasn't spinning barely. So I had to have them both rebuilt. Finally getting them back today. And tuning should start in a week or two hopefully. This is my last attempt. lol.

This is very sound thinking. Next time I will just buy fast enough off the lot. Lesson learned. This is the first vehicle that I have ever modified in my life so I guess I didn't realize all that could go wrong.

I am in the process of remote tuning with ZFG. I will post the results when I finish. To be honest it has been a long hard road since I started in July. lol. I have comp turbo technology hybrid turbos and am trying to tune with ZFG racing. I ran into problems in Sept. The first ZFG tunes were amazing. It felt like a 50-75 hp bump over Livernois or Unleashed, both of which I used for the prior year on my stock turbos. But I wanted more than my stock turbos could give. On revision 3 of remote tuning I began experiencing misfires on #6 cylinder and sometimes on #3, and it felt like I had my stock turbos back again because the power suddenly disappeared. I was so confused and lost to be honest. I am not mechanically inclined and don't do any work on my vehicle myself. I consulted many people and ZFG said that was was a problem with my #6 cylinder. I had two bad injectors so was told that running lean on ZFG scored my #6 cylinder. This was confirmed with borescore inspection. Cylinder 6 is badly scored. I drove on misfires for 6 weeks because I was told it was a tuning issue, not knowing my injectors were bad. So after replacing plugs, coils and injectors I decided to replace the engine. I honestly feel that something went wrong with my comp turbos also. In the process of replacing the engine I am having the turbos inspected. This has been a long, expensive process. I will never modify another vehicle other than a tune after this one. lol. Power is fun, but getting it work properly has been much more involved than I ever imagined. I will post how the ZFG tune does after my engine is replaced. This forum and its members have been a tremendous help to me in the past year. In hindsight, I wish I had spent a bit more on the BNR turbo upgrade option after reading about many people having problems with comp turbos. I will post if my comp turbos are ok. I don't want anymore to spend money on something that can't hold up. I hope nobody has to go through this much headache.
