My 2015 Edge Titanium show this symbol: -- on one wheel when I select the tire pressure screen. Other 3 tires show 35psi. Clearly a new sensor is required but it got me to thinking - these things must contain a battery and therefore being 10 years old now, should I be expecting the other three to go soon? Is a dying battery the most common way for these to fail?
Help....What size hex socket fits on the bare wheel nut? I managed to rip out one of my messed up chrome caps (basically cut it up into little pieces, still some left in there but I think enough to get a deep socket on) to expose the steel wheel nut, but nothing I have seems to fit. Is it 20mm?
Ureka! (Well, not really) Upon further prodding, I discover a microswitch which is activated by the slider arm that lets the glove box slowly fall forward, right hand side.
so, I get the principle but still no light. News at 11.
Have had the vehicle for a couple of years, but just recently noticed the LED that is supposed to illuminate the glove box was just ‘hanging’ in behind the box. I figured out where it goes and clipped it back in, but it doesn’t illuminate ..LEDs don’t ‘burn out’ as a rule.....when is this supposed to come on, and why doesn’t it?
TIA
Is this circuit on a timer, or does it switch off after a certain temperature, or what?
Drove in weather yesterday that required rear window and mirror heat continuously, but the circuit kicks out every five minutes or so. Annoying.
