  1. Forgot I had this until I was cleaning out. Purchased on eBay in 2019, works great, only shortcoming is that the links don't work to go from one part of the manual to another. Also has the electrical diagrams. FREE (I'll even pay to mail to it to you) Please send me a message through the forum
  2. Traded my '19 Edge ST and have these items that I removed before trading. Autostop Eliminator (looks like it will work with '19 and '20) https://www.autostopeliminator.com/collections/ford/products/2019-ford-edge-autostop-eliminator Best $100 I spent on the car. Less that 10 minutes to install This is the passenger side catch can from J&L - https://www.jlosc.com/jl-3-0-oil-separator-passenger-side-2015-2020-edge-sport-st-lincoln-mkx-2-7l-ecoboost/ It does have marks from using channel lock pliers to unscrew it, so it has been priced accordingly. This worked great, I emptied every 1k miles and at most there was a 1/4" of oil/etc in the bottom. Boomba BOV, had a nice sound coming off the gas. Ford Ecoboost Blow Off Valve Adapter [BOVA] Buy all 3 items for $120 shipped (the BOV is essentially free. )
  3. For me, it really isn't that unusual, I had a 2013 Ford Explorer that I had for 7years/150k miles that I traded in for my Edge. The biggest thing is the size inside the cabin. Big difference in the width inside, and outside that will take getting used to again. As far as amenities, pretty much the same as the Edge, B&O stereo. It does drive around corners differently as by design, it is a rear drive suv primarily with front drive as well, basically the opposite of the Edge. Now the engine and transmission are better, and 400HP is definitely nice! I haven't really gotten on it yet, but looking forward to pushing it as I get some miles on it. The brakes seem very good, like the Edge brakes. It doesn't have the hands-free lift gate, which I thought was a gimmick when it came on the Edge, but I used it a LOT more than I thought I would. I know I will miss that for sure!
  4. I traded my '19 Edge ST and took this off before turning it in. 6. Well I traded in the 19 ST for a 24 Explorer ST, so it is time to say goodbye! I certainly enjoyed my time with the Edge and my time here on the forums. Thank you everyone for your help and contributions here. Good luck with the Edge, I'll certainly miss it!
  7. Sorry just saw this. My ST is still on the stock springs, no aftermarket.
  8. Totally agree with Cerberus. I empty mine every 1000miles and it has about as much as what his picture shows. I added the JLT unit the first week I bought it (2019 ST with 56k miles). Pretty sure I don't want all of that liquid going back into the motor, so for the price and ease of installation and maintenance, I consider it money/time well spent.
  9. I went with Michelins to get a treadwear warranty. Those Pzero’s had great traction in the heat which the Michelins do not, but the Pzero’s only lasted 24,000 and the Michelins are currently at 32k and probably have another 5-6k before time to replace.
  10. Totally agree with taurussvt - I've had the spare on my 2019 ST with the brake/wheel package in since the first time my car was down for a week waiting for a Pirelli replacement
  11. based on your description I might look at the right front hub/bearing assembly
  12. Please update us on your install with pics and such
  13. Yes they are very fragile but easy to replace (done in both my Honda Pilot and Ford Explorer) after doing wheel hub replacements.
  14. Sorry to hear you won’t be making any more. Your ingenuity and creativeness was fun to watch!
  15. The perhaps the cables need adjustment for the new thickness of the discs?
  16. Does the 2009 have electronic parking brake? If so did you put it in maintenance mode when you worked on the brakes?
  17. Yeah, that looks like it should work!!
  18. I just completed this project last weekend (2019 ST) and yes Ford engineers made access an absolute pain!! I essentially did what you are thinking with the 3/8" steel rod and used a 3/8" breaker bar from Autozone. I took the tool apart because you still can't get the angle quite right, put the 3/8" piece in and when it was aligned, I put the bar's "U" section around the piece and turned it a quarter turn at a time. When it wouldn't line up exactly right, I used an allen key pushed through the hole on the 3/8" piece to turn it enough to get the bar back on. Fortunately it isn't in there too tight. https://www.autozone.com/ratchets-sockets-and-wrenches/breaker-bar-tool/p/duralast-3-8in-drive-10in-breaker-bar/565694_0_0
  19. Yes, my 2019 ST has cooling into the PTU.
  20. There are no screws or anything holding it down after you remove the 2 side pieces. Just pull up evenly from the sides, it will pop out.
