  1. I had a lot of the same questions as you as far as which tuning solution I’m going to use. Coming from Ecuflash which is free and has a huge community support, looking at the tuning options for this car or even US cars in general is daunting. On the plugs, you would want to run a closer gap only if your getting high rpm misfires. Otherwise running a wider gap will make more power. Colder plug would help on pump/race gas if your making a lot more whp than stock. Stock/hotter plug usually works better for E85-100.
  2. Thanks! I’m guessing the Ford Performance 70mm for the 2.3 EcoBoost fits as well. Although spendy.
  3. For example on the Evo replacing the rear mount causes more NVH than replacing the front mount, so majority just go with the front mount and OEM rear/sides unless race car. Filling the OEM mount comes from the DSM crowd where filling with $10 of urethane was cheaper than buying an aftermarket mount but was also a good trade-off of NVH vs the aftermarket mounts higher durometer rating. Trying to have your cake and eat it too with stiffer bushings and NVH is often not possible, I understand.
  4. Yea aftermarket support seems to be pretty poor from what I've gathered. I wish there was something like Ecuflash support. I'm not a fan of canned/off the shelf maps but also not a fan of doing pulls on the freeway. My local dynojet shop doesn't want to tune it unless Cobb has an AP for it so I guess its Livernois or Unleashed for me. The throttle body looked like an easy mod though even if its only good for a few whp.
  5. So it appears the Mustang EcoBoost and several others have the same Ford part number for the throttle body as the Edge ST 2.7? From the info I gathered people are running the BBK Mustang Ecoboost TB on the Edge. Are there any 70mm + options that are also compatible without modifications?
  6. Why does this require the fans to be adjusted?
  7. Rather than making a new thread I thought I'd bump this one. Has anyone tried filling the OEM motor mount with 3M window sealant or the like? Is the front motor mount too difficult to get at? In other FWD-based AWD platforms the front mount is usually the first to be replaced. I can tell the engine/drivetrain shifts back and forth a lot and could benefit from better mounts, however, its not a race care and is supposed to be a comfortable, quiet daily driver.
  8. Anything new on this? *Edit* Called aFe and they said its still on their R&D list but didnt have any other information. Probably before end of year I'm guessing.
