Definitely worth the trade up.Had it a coupe of weeks now and love it. A much quieter and smoother ride. Bells and whistles galore. My trade was worth 5K more than I paid for it so it was a deal hard to pass up.

Well I have been a lurker for the most part but gleaned some great info from the folks here. Taking delivery tomorrow on an 09 Flex ,so this is my final entry. Loved the Edge but always had my eye on a Flex. :speedie:

Looking to trade the 08 Edge for a used 09 Flex. Have been running AutoCheck on a ton of cars that are on dealers lots and 99.9% of them are reported as "manufacturer's vehicle" at the auction. Any opinions on what the history of these cars would be?

The wifes blue Edge goes in the shop tomorrow for rust in the drivers sidefront quarter panel, Same loacation as your's Lex.

Take a look at Avon Tech ST. Put a set on my 06 F150 and I like them better than the stock Pirelli's. $180 per tire is what I paid.

08 Ltd. AWD Computer says 18. Actual 16. Average daily commute 10 miles in town, round trip. It barely has a chance to warm up.

Havent driven it much yet. Bought it for the wife who thought she wanted a Toyota Rav4. It took some time to convince her that the Edge has more going than the Rav4. No nav or sat. radio, but is does have Sync. No need to pay for music when all you need to do is load a USB drive with your favorites. The Ford Nav is way too expensive and I'm glad I didnt have to pay for it. Garmin makes some fine products that cost much less. So far, Its great. Have been reading about alot of problems others have had and hope I won't be at the stealership as often as them.

2008 Limited AWD with vista roof. 17K on the odometer. $21,000 :yup: I drive a hard bargain... err I mean Edge.

On the contrary,,, just bought an 08 Edge Limited AWD w/ vista roof and 17k miles for 21K USA. A new 08 with all the rebates and employee pricing couldnt come close.

Hello All Just purchased an 08 Edge LTD and ,as always,I like to join a forum to stay informed about what I will be driving. Loads of information to go over,so I better get busy. I have an 08 Ltd with vista roof and AWD as options. Not planning any mods except for gps. Already looked at the factory option but there are too may variables at stake to expect a plug and play install. cyas R
