Not sure what this means or if any of us waiting for our orders will get it... But a powerlift gate for the Edge seems to be in the works - what it means for the balance of 2007s being made - not sure... Wait and see

Im replacing my Toyota with an Edge - as for the Murano - actually more expensive than Edge - Could be that people don't like 1st year production cars - even though the Edge has gotten great reviews - best advertising is word of mouth and getting the Edge on the road where people can see it. My brother works at Ford - he loved the Edge the minute he saw it together - raved about the BAMR - 6yrs ago I bought my toyota - didnt even consider a Ford product as they had NOTHING that appealed to me. But I drove the Edge - loved it - it sold me. Lets hope more get "sold"

My dealer tried to find one in our area that I wanted - none of them had navs in the colours I wanted - couldn't even steal one off another dealer list. So.. to get what I wanted - it had to be ordered..

Kinda reminds me of the 1960s or 50s station wagon - boxy, cross between a pick up truck and mini van.

Yep - they dont serialize unless they can assign the VINs - per my brother - all parts are attached to a VIN - ordered on a as needed basis - there is very little inventory held at the plant This typical for most manufacturing places. This NAV is getting great reviews on ease of use... maybe its just too popular for Pioneer to keep up.

Just thought I would let everyone know that short term financing rates have dropped as per the payment calculator on Ford.ca - my dealer told me that I can take the financing at time of order OR if cheaper, the financing at delivery. Finance = 0% for 24 and 36 months...

Im joining the "please track my VIN" club VIN = 2FMDK49C27BA98565 Would some kind office soul please track our VINs - the wait is brutal -

PS - my bro works there... He tracked my VIN - they told him I was extremely lucky to get serialized...

Ordered mine Mar 20 - serialized.. build Apr 23 -with Nav - true there are shortages.. but I got one..

Hi there... my brother works on the line.. kinda hard for him to get to the office to track during the day.. My order (SELplus with Vista and Nav) placed March 20 -was initially told 3rd week of April - my dealer got the build in and I got a VIN right away... there was a shortage of NAVs - dealer had 2 orders in - mine got a NAV and the other hot pushed back a week. Brother did say some shifts were down - which is slowing the line - but production is supposed to be ramped up to 1100 units per day... They are taking their time with this.. they want it right and so do I - Its Creme Brulee with charcoal - the more I see the Edge around.. the more I like it Brother did check my VIN - build scheduled for Apr 23 - but it could be sooner - I should see it by end of month.

I test drove one in light sage - very nice colour - the lightest of grays with green tint.... No worries.. its nice...

Me too.. just a brochure - : ( But the brochure did have a nice big pic of the creme brulee.. FYI Sue -- delays at the plant.. but production is being stepped... I am waiting too

I have a buyer lined up for my 2001 Solara - just waiting for my Edge to arrive.. Making the big leap from coupe to CUV - initially thought I would get a RAV4 (its boring looking and too rinky dink - although a great vehicle), really like the look of the CX-7 - but 4 banger that has a rated MPG like the Edge at premium gas - sounds like bankruptcy to me... So.. and since my bro works at Ford (A Plan price) - i chose the edge.. but fell in love with it when I drove it.. now.. anything else looks ordinary... the funny.. my office is located at the QEW - and occasionally - like 5 times this week - I saw Edges loaded up on trucks going west - Sighs.. at least 3 week wait for me... but by then.. the sun will be out.. and the BAMR in full use..

USA or Canada -? - I understand there is great demand for the SEL stuff.. not so much for the SE - so there is cash back on the SE - nothing noted on Ford Canada website... can anyone provide more info...??

I live in the GTA -and my brother works there... it was supposed to be 4 weeks.. now closer to 6 due to some delays.. Ordered Mar 20 - got a VIN ready away too.. Patience... to quote the commercial

As per the Edge promo book - 9 speakers in 5 locations - 4 2 way speakers in the doors, 8" woofer and 190watt amp in the back...

Update at March 27/07 "sighs" delivery dated pushed to near end of April - bummer Some interesting information to note when ordering... Getting your VIN quick is vital - as all parts are assigned your VIN number - then it can be assembled quicker. Delays in getting a VIN = delays in order being filled. Production should be ramping up another 500 units per week shortly... which may help. Good sign for Ford - demand is good for the Edge... looks like we have a winner... Any other employees who have info - it would be appreciated. My bro works there.. so I know how hard the job can be.... great work guys and gals - Im hoping this takes off big time for all the workers who try to do Quality Job 1 - its paying off .... keep it up

Is it me.. or is it the excitement.. or is it the EDGE... Cause I keep checking this forum ALL the time.. and I dont even have my Edge yet... Yikes.. wait till I get pictures on here.. And then we can track each on our Nav units!!!.... YA.... (that's suppose to be funny!!)

According to my brother who is tracking my Edge - and it ends in 8565 - yours should be just about done.. I think...

Hi.. just spoke to my brother who works there - 5191 should be out production by Wed... They do roughly 1000 units per day... over 2 shifts.. .. just depends on where they need to ship to you. Hope that helps

The floor in the cargo area lifts up to hide items.. there is quite a bit of the space around the spare. Especially good to hide those snow brushes, emergency kits etc... Other than that...haven't seen anything else. Something one of the sales agent I spoke to pointed out.

FYI - the creme brulee no where close to the Dune Pearl (thats a Gold) the creme is ivory For me, I love purple - but this purple is too much like black - I was able to go to Ford Edge Parking lot - seeing them together makes it easier to choose.. the copper and the creme stand out - the pewter is a nice silver... I think its just timing... I mean the backlog will be pushed out... and my order just means production is moving again.. of course there have been delays with wheels and navs.. my dealer (I dealt with the owner) told me about the navs - 2 orders went in and my order got the nav and other didnt. It waits another week...

Orderd placed - delivery planned for 2nd week in April... AWD SEL, Vista Roof and Navigation After much observation.. creme brulee is the sweetest shade.. charcoal leather Did a test drive a week before ordering.. drove great.. just like my coupe... That sealed the deal - looks great and like nothing else on the market -
