Just to clarify - I have a BAMR - when I read your post - something clicked for me - that my BAMR did not close all the way... So.. I pulled out the owner's book - and there is default stop settings on the BAMR - first touch to open - will open it to the "comfort" position which is not all the way open - 2nd touch and hold will open it full. To close, first touch will close to the "express" close position, second touch and hold will fully close the roof. Just wanted to let everyone know before they concluded they had a problem with the BAMR..

My edge was held up because of the NAV - 6 weeks - picked it up yesterday - but dealer had it serialized in 2 days... Worth the wait... "patience"

oh ya forgot that part... the salesman/owner was there with me.. and I looked at him said... let me see this liftgate.... opened and closed - looked at him. - said "are you kidding me.. they are complaining about that?" Its light snaps shut easy... Day 2 is even better than Day 1 - that is one sweet vehicle on the highway...

Hi everyone.. after a painful 6 week wait - I picked up my beautiful Edge today - Creme Brulee, Charcoal, AWD SEL plus with BAMR and NAV. So.. let's clear the issues out of the way. 1. Liftgate - light and super easy to open. Im 5"1 - absolutely no problems whatsoever. 2. Brakes - the felt fine. I got a quick response from the pedal. Absolutely confident they are fine. 3. Glare - yes you can the see aluminum bezel - buts its not in the line of vision and it did not bother me whatsoever. Overall, great vehicle, drove superbly, quiet, great acceleration - no doubts in my mine - the spirit of a sports car. I love it Pics are posted in the member gallery - more to come ....

Very Cool... I have the same except Charcoal interior, BAMR and NAV....and I considered the CX-7 - interesting how she likes the Edge now.... I pick mine up tonight - on my way shortly.. pics to come...

Just need to register as a user... that should do it - but I think u did that already.. I saw the post... The length depends on what you ordered - AWD SEL plus with BAMR and NAV took 6 weeks for me

There is was no available Edge in the combo I wanted - I got the NAV and there were very few dealers with a NAV edge on the lot. Its 6 weeks now.. and it should be this week. My brother works at the plant - so I got his company discount. Its no different that buying one off the lot - left a small deposit - financing starts when you take delivery. It is the wait... seems like forever..

Im just having a little fun - hope no one takes offence.. Im still waiting for my edge... this week should be the week.... FYI - the dogs are sweet.. nice work you do...

OK.. before someone claims it.. my NAV is now christened.. BAMR

I got the same story from dealer when I ordered - and yes the supply is limited. My order timing was good and I got serialized within 2 days... Order date Mar 20, Expected delivery is week of Apr 30. Others have waited longer esp if you want a NAV like I did.... Hopefully your timing will be good...

Both Sue and I are waiting for AWD with roof and NAV.. Her order was Feb 28 mine was Mar 20 - I was serialized in 2 days - and ready for production this week. Get the dealer to get your VIN - visit blueovalforums.com - post under vehicle locater by ford employees. Be persistent with your dealer

Well I have a Ford employee plan price - but when I researched dealer costs - I found credible websites to be reliable. Good Luck - its a hot market, long order wait - best to get one off the lot - if you want the NAV like I do - its about 5-6 weeks on order... And they can't keep up with the orders...

Not only was the premium a deal killer for me on the CX-7 - its gas mileage approximated the Edge with less hp and only a 4 cyl. This wait is killing me - good thing the weather aint too good.. no use for the BAMR yet

May I ask - when did you order and do you have NAV? I have ordered as you SEL Plus with the NAV - thanks ... FYI - Creme brulee - charcoal leather and lots of shiny chrome.. Any body know what the best way to look after the chrome bits? Gotta keep that grill looking good... thanks in advance
