Whats your average speed? Im at an average speed of 38km - getting 14.2 right now... on third tank - doing about 300kms per week....I think I might reset my computer calculation....

Im 5ft 1" - I can reach to close the hatch - with EASE.... As for hands full of groceries - thats why they have carts... Although a power release would be nice - we can manage... good grief.. however did we handle the older days with no power anything

On the weekend took my Edge through its first carwash - touchless of course - and had to test the seals on my Vista roof - no leaks !!! When I got home - I took a microfibre detailing cloth - polished up my rims - looked good as new.. no solutions required. FYI - Owners manuel said not to use an abrasive cleaners - they are clear coated - so.. the cloth worked great.... easy and fast.. no mess

Mine took six weeks - it was AWD SEL Plus with Vista Roof and Navigation. As for back - with a seat folded down - absolutely no problem. You can likely stand the stroller on its side agn the seat and groceries in front. It should work. If still in doubt.. I would take stroller in to your Ford dealer and see - nothing like seeing it for yourself. Just an FYI - once you order and have a VIN - go on over to blueovalforums.com - post the VIN under vehicle locator by employees and they can keep you up to date on production. Things are running smoother now - just depends on what options you have ordered.

No glare here either.. I have charcoal interior - what i have noticed... my side vents along the door are matte silver and not chrome.. the upper trim of the center console that wraps onto the dash.. is also matte silver.. only face of the console is aluminum...

Gosh darn it... i should pay better attention - Indeed I am still excited when people say they are getting an Edge - it really is worth the money and the wait.

Go to Blueovals.com - post under vehicle locator by ford employees.. Chuck and Viper will look after you... I waited 6 weeks - SEL Plus with VISTA and NAV - its worth the wait... Navs are short supplied.

Thermometer - hit "ext" between temp controls - voila - external temp. I did splurge and got the NAV - love the touchscreen radio stuff... and all the GPS stuff.. very cool.. Enjoy.. its a great . I Love it

HAHA.. FYI - no igloos in Toronto... Ontario is a province, Ottawa is the national capital.. Even though the signs are metric and our speedometers - we still know and refer to imperial measures.. Anything else? Just let me know... LOL

My guess - is that cost has to do with the process of making them - it is plated covers - not just plastic - and its still on an aluminum rim - so my guess.. some shopping was done - and this was the best cost way for them to go. Your dash is plastic - your seats surfaces are leather - the rest ain't - Im sure we can pick apart the entire interior - Give me that AWESOME vista roof over real chrome any day. The rims still look better than any others I have seen on comparable vehicles Ahhh just enjoy the ride...

Agreed - its likely a cost cutting measure.. they are a business... But the effect is the same.. and frankly - I like the way they look... Ya know.. I think I would up give real chrome for some of the other features the Edge has - most people who want the real deal - go out and do it themselves anyway. If they didn't offer the look - you would take what they gave you and changed it yourself anyhow... Its like the issue of a powerlift gate - that thing is light as a feather - but some still aren't happy. Guess you can't please all the people.. all of the time.

HI... I thought at some point someone here asked how to get rid of the disclaimer screen. Is it possible? I read the NAV book - and it states "comes up every ignition cycle" Did someone manage to figure this one out? Otherwise.. the NAV is sweet system - love the touchscreen stuff... Thanks in advance.

At 110mph - it has to be whisper quiet and ssssssoooooooooooooooo smooth... It can't be anything else...

FYI - the covers do not come off - it is a one piece rim - if search ebay you can see what they look like off the car with no tire. My guess is this product type is new - hence the expense - if someone has any technical info on this type of product and why its expensive it would be nice to know. Thanks

Well.. I have my Edge for week now - and the computer calculated mileage starts out high and drops every day that I been driving. I drive a mix of city and highway.... still to early to tell. From what I read on the forums - its mixed.. but most have said it gets better over time and is much better on highway. Ya know.. Its a great vehicle... fun to drive... smooth and quick. If you can get past the mileage issue... you will have no regrets.

Hi... I have family who work there.. and yes. there have been call backs - as many as 50-90 - the third shift may be delayed.... as they do not want to overstock the Edge. That may change after shutdown. Thats all I know. then again.. it changes all the time. Hope you get called back soon.. Take care

It can take a bit.. some of us got VIN's in a couple of days.. some took weeks Best to post VIN at blueovalforums.com - under vehicle locator by employees once you have it. Serialized means all the parts for your vehicle have been assigned to your call and labelled by VIN. Then.. its just wait.... hopefuly short wait
