  1. Exactly right! Turbo engines are harder on oil! Changing your oil before 5000 miles is cheap insurance for your engine. I drive 50 miles to work one way...15 miles are side roads and the rest are highway. I used to run Mobil 1 but now I run rotella...both full synthetic. I also have a catch can installed. Mine is actually a 2016 Sport. The oil life percentage has never been below 30% when i change it
  2. I don't care what oil you use...I would never take any of them over 5000 miles!
  3. 4 years here too. I replaced it due to object sensors randomly telling me something was there...but there was never anything there that should have made them go off. Im glad I did too cause my buddy that ran the battery relearn process and reset the keep alive memory said there were some codes that came up about voltage errors...or something along those lines
  4. I have a front end noise that sounds like the front end is about to fall off when hitting very small bumps. Everything seems tight when doing all the checks. My next try that I haven't done yet is to put it on the rack with the tires up...then have someone run it while I listen underneath
  5. You have a rodent problem. I had bird seed behind mine when I kept the bird seed in the garage. Mice, chipmunks or red squirrels
  6. I have a 2016 sport that I only run 93 octane gas in it no matter if I have a tune loaded or not. I just posted the crazy exhaust sound one. The first time I replaced my plugs at 36,000 miles... cylinder 1 and 4 spark plugs were missing their ground strap...the vehicle was acting up with the check engine light lightly flashing and going away. Also it was about a week or so after I had a BG intake cleaning done. Today I'm currently at 70,300 miles and just changed the plugs hours ago with the new updated ones...so far the rough idle, bacon sizzle and vibration that sounds like life flight is flying over your house is gone.
  7. Has anyone exer heard this sound coming from their exhaust? This is on a 2016 Sport. I remote started it to get ready to take my girl out for dinner yesterday. After it was started for a few minutes I could hear a louder than normal vibration sound in my house from the vehicle running. When I went outside to check things out the exhaust had a sound coming out that sounded similar to bacon frying. No check engine lights but definitely running a little funny. I'm about to change the plugs out today. Also I've had it on the stock tune for over a month now. 70,200 miles on it. 20200214_193939_3_2.mp4
  8. Yes it is!!! Thank you for all of the research!!
  9. What brand of clamps and hoses did you go with? Also where to buy them? I'm doing both the intercooler and cold side pipe
  10. I'll be making a service call to the dealer also. My driver side looks the same
  11. I have this same issue happening. Mine warns that there is something on the left side big enough to have the 2 red bars light up for both driver side doors. It happens usually with the first couple stops after sitting for roughly 8 hours...but it doesn't happen all the time, not even weekly. When it happens I still look to see if anything is there but there is nothing...not even a small tree branch. I've taken it to the dealer but they couldn't reproduce the issue. Also it seems to happen only in cooler weather
  12. Pirelli scorpion verde...I religiously rotated every other oil change. They stayed pretty flat across the tread too
  13. 46K on my 2016...original tires too
  14. I'll be hooking up a scan tool and battery load tester later today to see what pops up. The air bag light was on too with the other lights
  15. I stopped at a friend's house for a couple hours on my way home from work. When I started my edge sport to go home a bunch of warning lights came on...ABS fault, hill assist fault, stability control fault, traction control fault, and maybe a airbag fault too. No limp mode at all. Got it home and parked it for the night...then in the morning started it up and drove to work with no faults at all. It's been 2 days without any faults.
  16. You got my attention. But curious on the sound here. Are you saying it's still in sleeper mode?
  17. Had my bar sitting on the porch when I got home from work today!
  18. Just cleaned my JLT catch can. This is the first time I've ran it. So on a 4000 mile oil change there was about 3/4 ounce of oil in the chamber
  19. On my 2016 white platinum sport both front and rear bumpers are a different shade than the rest. It's very noticeable to me...but varsity ford in ann arbor Michigan don't see a difference. Varsity Ford has great salespeople but horrible service center!
  20. On my 2016 sport at 42000 miles I just noticed the passenger side PTU seal is leaking...also the RDU is wet with fluid on the right side and I'm not sure what or where its leaking from. Has anyone else had their rear drive leak?
  21. Do you have the vista roof? If so the inner part of the headliner closest to the glass is held up by magnets and can be pulled down far enough to run a wire from front to back without an issue. I would find a way to secure the wire to the bottom of the vista roof frame so it wouldn't move around much
  22. Every day on my 52 mile journey to work lol. But an actual track not yet. I will be going to LMS and putting her on the dyno to see the results of the upgrades...but that won't be for a while since I've just seen that the right side PTU seal is leaking also the RDU appears to be leaking also
