So you have stock HIDs? What are KC300's instructions? What is your plan?

There is actually a bunch of zoom levels.. but I notice there is now a choice called "Auto". Maybe it was there before and I never noticed, but as you mention, slow down and it zooms in, speed up and it zooms out. Cool, just like my TomTom does.

Good point... Clarifying my post about the 29 pull up higher... all I actually did yesterday was the Fuse pull, I have never done a Master Reset.

Same here... 16gig USB Flash partitioned as FAT32, And yes, the Mac hidden files are a problem. I sync to my USB Flash Drive from iTunes using iTuneMyWalkman, then fire up Fusion with Windows XP and delete all the Mac files off the drive.

I have never had to do a Master Reset until today. Did the upgrade with no issues, without doing one. But I have only had my 2012 since Jan ro so.

With Dish you can choose the direction the guilde goes when up/down paging etc.

Sadly I had to pull 29 this morning. I could no longer switch to any sources other then Sirius or FM. Ohhh it would switch to USB and even show the curent song playing, art etc. But the sound would still be playing the Sirius channel. Shut the car off and back on multiple times... no go. Same for CD, AV IN and Bluetooth Audio. Finally after pulling 29... it works again. So much for stability in the new upgrade. Ohhh and while I am ranting... somebody else mentioned the brightness offset no longer worked. I can echo that problem as I like my screen very dark. I did notice it the offset works above the midway point... meaning it will brighten the screen with each step above halfway. But each step below halfway does NOTHING. :angry:

So is the lack of text support a Ford MFT issue, or an Apple issue? I suspect Apple, but wondered if anyone knew?

LOL... I even looked back through the posts to see if you mentioned it. I missed it right there in your very first post... duh. So how did this all work? Did you buy the tuner from Amazon and then buy a tune for your SCT to run on your Edge from MorePowerTuning? Can I ask where you purchased what and $$$ ballpark spent?

Same here.... I really, really wanted the fuel savings with EcoBoost... BUT... 302a and AWD were not negotiable... so I had to go V6. I get like 18.8 mph right now with mainly HWY driving about 60 miles each day back and forth to work. I only have 2000 miles on my 2012... hoping it gets better especially once we get rid of the winter gas mixes.

I thought I read the whole manual and don't recall seeing any feature like that.

Same thing here with iPhone 4 and 4s. And yes... it was like this previously. As with yours... I see the proper symbols in the phonebook, but when I save the numbers to my Quick Dials (Favorites)... they all get the same symbol.

So do you have any specific opinions formed yet? How much better is the driving experience? Acceleration etc.? And have you driven long enough on it to get Fuel numbers? Also... what is your Edge? 3.5 I assume? and is it AWD or FWD? Thanks, Rayo

100% Agree. Also... maybe I am imagining it, but I think the font used for the Driver/Passenger Temps shown in the lower right when say the Entertainment screen is active... they are SMALL. Seems like they used to be bigger. I LIKE that when I used my phone and go to the quick dials, I don't get that stupid pop up telling me what the quick dials are. I thought "Duhhhh... not very quick if I have to wait for the pop-up each time." I would also like to be able to touch the Time readout (clock) and have it change to date the way it used to in older Sync vehicles. Now if you touch it, it brings up the clock settings which are available from the settings menu, not really needed for "quick access via that button". Just minor gripes... I am VERY happy so far. Hmm... wonder how they will look when turned off. Maybe some masking of LED windows and chrome paint or something might be in order. I have not ordered them yet, hope to this week. I will definitely post impressions as soon as I get them.

That is exactly what I am planning on doing... just the 8 LED phillips DRL with No Tubes//Bars/Strips or whatever we are referring to those as.

So I have some direct experience here. Previously we have owned a 2007 and 2008 Edges, both V6 AWDs. I currently own a 2012 Edge V6 AWD. My wife went from the 2008 Edge to a 2010 CRV-EX with NAV (basically the most loaded CRV you can get). Does it get good gas mileage... well I figured it would be better... she gets maybe 25 to 26 ish. We mainly drive Hwy miles... about 60 miles each day. We originally got the CRV because of price. She really wanted another Edge but I was doing the job roller-coaster and we wanted to save some money. Needless to say.. if the 2013 Escape pans out to be a good vehicle, she will probably make the swap to an EcoBoost Escape. Even with all the MyFordTouch issues... the Technology in the Ford BLOWS AWAY what the CRV has. Sure the CRV has bluetooth and NAV, but the bluetooth integration is almost a second thought and it stinks and you think Fords Nav needs work... go drive a CRV... bleeech. When we go on trips... we end up firing up TomTom on my iPhone to supplement and error check the CRV Nav as it tends to make some CRAZY decisions. The CRV is built well and drives nice... but is VERY Road Noisy. And if you are concerned about acceleration... walk away and look at the V6 Edge or EcoBoost... you will be MUCH happier. The CRV really struggles to accelerate hard... it will do it, but it feels like it's gonna blow up getting there. Also note that good Tow options for the CRV kind of stink. Look to the Edge or 2013 Escape. Rayo

Ahhh... well PLEASE... document your progress for us all. Also based on the size of holding in your hand and what you have seen of other modifications done here with the factory DRLs.... do they seem like they will be easy to fit up? And unrelated... but who made your Hip?? Biomet? Zimmer? DePuy? Maybe you don't know who made it... but I work for Biomet in Warsaw Indiana... we make all kinds of Ortho Prosthetics. How is the healing process coming along? Rayo

Dingo... Do Tell!!! How did you mount them, did you modify the existing DRL spot like KC300 or did you just mount them somewhere in the grill etc. Can you provide some pictures??? I have been salivating over those Phillips DRLs but wanting to make sure they would fit/work before pulling the trigger. Also... how is the dual intensity working for you, did you hook up the sense wire so they dim when your lights are on? Rayo
