Doesn't happen much on just city and highway. It only happens to me when I visit my buddy up in Northern Wisconsin. Dirt and gravel roads and lots of kicked up dust. Just keep it clean. If you worry, put some fluid film on the bottom edges of the doors .

Super Grabby Brakes - 2016 - Build 31-May-2016
vega replied to evh's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
They will stick to the build date. Either live with it or replace probably out of pocket. You could try though, I would. -
Are you using a common harness with a relay? If not, I would plug in the original halogen bulb to test the circuit. I always use a relay that taps the battery power directly on all of mine.

I have two vehicles, 2012 Focus and 2015 Edge both from the same dealer. I do most of my work on them but once in a while will go to the dealer for things like flushes, transmission. Invariably, they always try to push throttle body cleaning service or injector cleaning. I once fell for the injector cleaning on the Focus for $220. I felt taken since it didn't run any better or different. I do my own throttle cleaning on both. Is it only me that think this is a gimmick?

Comprehensive List of Possible Forscan Mods?
vega replied to ben senise's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Look at this thread about Forescan. -
Um, how about year and model.
-
Way too busy looking for me. I prefer simple curves and lines inside and out.

Stay away from this place. Synthetic oil is good but not essential and certainly not every 2k. I use it and change it every 5-7 k. Ford uses a synthetic and regular blend.

Certainly acting like a used car. I can't imagine how the two are related. As to the first, try a different phone, as to the second, no idea.

How To: HID Headlight Installation from Drive Bright
vega replied to Mikula's topic in Accessories & Modifications
You need an inline capacitor to stop the buzzing. That buzzing is your relay vibrating on and off at a certain frequency. I will burn out prematurely without a capacitor which will smooth out the current. Make sure the ends are correct before buying. I had this problem on my edge. 2 years no problems with the HIDs . -
2015 Edge Brake Questions. Electronic e-brake etc...
vega replied to mhaynes's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
This comes just in time to do mine. Thanks everybody!!!! -
Any wax works. Been doing it for over a decade and all my cars headlights are crystal clear still.

Yes, it's programmed like an extra key fob but I have an intelligent access push to start with a remote start on the vehicle. I have 4 admin keys ( the remote takes up one of them) I only wanted the keypad it if I lose my key. Going to just hide a key somewhere outside with the fob part hidden inside the vehicle wrapped with aluminum. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet.

Wax them regularly.

Oh, wow, thank you all. It just looked so weird and just surprised that a 2015 SE would have a drain plug. Makes it much easier!!!
-
Yeah but it's a bit of a surprise because it does not fit the regular drain plug profile.

Here is a picture I found that matches my PTU. 2 plugs. https://www.fordflex.net/forums/download/file.php?id=5529

I have a 2015 SE AWD. Want to change the fluid in my PTU. I don't have a sport but I see what looks like a drain plug in the PTU but it is not on the bottom like photos I have seen for the sport on the bottom of the PTU. It look like a drain plug on the side but lower from the upper fill plug. Is this a drain plug I am looking at? To the right of the photo? I thought for sure it wouldn't have a drain. Can anyone comfirm that this is the drain plug? Thanks gang. https://photos.app.goo.gl/gsV9CDJ33CeQ1MCT8

Gee, please let us know the final solution to this weird problem.

Mud Flaps - Guards for 15-17 Sport trim
vega replied to NoDTMF's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Bought these a few years ago and have been happy. But, the rear ones have a small rectangle on the inner bottom facing the rear wheel. Just the other day I tapped on it and a bunch of old dried mud came out. I tapped for around 10 minutes and couldn't believe how much mud had snuck in there. I think it was from a trip in northern wisconsin where all the roads were dirt and mud.
