  1. Horizontal play is ok as long as the bushings are firmly holding the bar, if not buy better bushings but note that the bar diameter is larger than stock. Recommendation: If you haven't done so already...we highly recommend that you read this entire topic thread because several members have experienced a so called "Bonk" a few Wks after bar installation of which the common denominator so far tgat has been attributing to this is the curved outlet pipes on the muffler hitting somewhere on the car. What one has to do with the other, we have yet to identify.
  2. You should be using the new bushings that come with the bar and putting a VERY light coat of silicone or lithium grease at the bushing contact point. The bar should be allowed to move slightly. In addition you should also have installed new links & link locks to reduce horizontal movement. Ensure you've centered the bar horizontally before tightening the link locks...
  3. Hey there Best Coast Brother! Thnx for the DIY, great write up! Question: Do you feel the performance gains were worth the money & effort expended?
  4. We, Special K & I, were part of the development & evaluation of this system and highly recommend you dig back in this topic string to find the contact Info for Vinny (JLT owner) to get an education on the system to save yourself from creating the overkill & potential future problems that you are headed for...

  8. It's much less effort than what it appears on the instructions. Some simple processes when put into words turns into a dissertation. Its literally as simple as: Jack up the car Unbolt the 2 retaining bolts Install the new RMM, correct side down, embossed Specs facing down, also you might need to slightly rock the motor Fwd or back by hand simply to achieve bolt alignment since that mount is what controls that rocking direction. Torque bolts to the Spec embossed on RMM and your done. Still verify my input with the instructions incase something was updated. Disconnecting the battery is a standard safety practice enforced by most dealerships.?
  9. Do not use locktite and torque Specs are embossed on the CPe RMM
  10. Thnx for validating that issue! The Duro issue has been in the grey ever since they moved to the Carolinas. We originally settled refinement at 60 Duro from the 80 we started at. Let us know how it feels at idle.

  16. Correction: 2016 through 2018 RMM are the same so if what your saying has been validated via Ford parts source then 2016-2019 are the same. Technically you could also include the late model 2015s however that's hit-n-miss depending on your VIN...
