Totally agree with all points Xtra & thnx 4 chiming N, I'll let U know should we need 2 take U up on the offer... Per your concern of water intrusion under all normal & extreme weather conditions, aside from traversing flood waters up to the intake, you'll B fine... 2 boot, there R drain holes N the bottom of the intake box... BTW, how about some instruction on placing Pics with their relevant paragraphs... Root57, R U onboard should we need your services that Xtra described?.. So far we've done an R&D tear down & here R the initial research Pics... Note: This is going 2 take some time, if it works at all, so B patient peeps, we do have full time jobs & this isn't it...

Also to add to Xtra's outstanding Hack/MOD... Special K and I are going to attempt to modify the already great idea further by fabricating a ram scoop to bring the air box intake opening to the 2 openings in the grill on the drivers side created by Xtra's MOD... BTW, Special K & I are in the engineering field... If we can find a fabricator to run with our prototype how many would be interested in purchasing one? In addition, we're looking at possibly venting the valance cover that covers that entire area on top since the scoop will not be using the air in that cavity as it would per Xtra's MOD. This would reduce the heat accumulation and keep the scoop cooler. The question for this MOD would be...the Value Added For Effort Expended (VAFEE)... ...we encourage input from any 2016 Edge Sport Subject Matter Experts (SME) Pleeeease...

Count me in as interested and R&D available within reasonable distance i.e. 2 hrs+/-. As long as someone works out the logistics and provides me the POC I'll entertain and if properly coordinated support! FYI, Special K & I are in the engineering field...;-)

I'm currently tuning with Unleashed (Torrie) using the SCT X4 and have yet to have a problem with getting any of the required vehicle Info that Torrie is requiring prior to tuning i.e. vehicle strategy, etc. I'll be uploading the tune this Wknd along with my Son (Special K) who is experienced with using tuners. Per Torrie, once we upload the tune we will perform 2 loggings, one in "Drive" from a stand still, Wide Open Throttle (WOT) through all gears then another in "Sport" from a stand still, WOT through all gears. We'll forward these logging files to Torrie per email and wait for his refinement of the tune...;-) BTW stock 2016 Edge Sport, other than I went with Torrie's recommendation for the 170 thermostat and I live in Maryland. Once we're properly tuned I'll post my Qtr mile times stock and Tuned (ETA 30 days) along with the Tuned Dyno Specs (ETA 30 days)...;-) Thnx to Xtra... ...he posted, in the same forums string, the mathematical facts he did based on my stock Dyno report. All of this Info and updates will be posted in the "Welcome Forum!" section under "New Edge Sport 2016 Owner"...

Does anyone happen to have a diagram and/or instructions for accessing the top bolts on the strut towers for a cross brace installation? One of the bolts are hidden in the back and inaccessible without removing the valance on top...I think???

Can someone please direct me to where the thermostat housing is on the Sport so I can get this done! A perspective and a close in Pic would be awesome. Is this an easy access job or do I have to tear this monster half apart?

BTW, The cross brace is ordered & based on your advice I dropped the pursuit of a better rear sway bar...;-)

I'll be doing the springs when I put on my next set of skins and the brakes when I finish this set. The tune will be Unleashed Tuning which will be done in the next1-2 Wks of which I'll post the Dyno report on my Intro post like I did today with my stock/baseline Dyno report...;-) And I will be taking into consideration and probably using both of your advise...;-) Yes, mine is a 2016 Sport.

Xtra & roots57 Thanks guys for the responsive & direct facts without all the fluff! Definitely gives me some defined focus. I'm a big performance and handling buff, power is useless if you can't control/harness it...;-) I'm an old school "B" Modified class road racer from the 70's ie. Lime rock & Summit...:-) Talk about a major Tech jump...ouch!
