  1. Found a pair of 2016 Edge Sport Turbos with 10k for $300, couldn't pass that up, now off to the MOD shop... There are way too many out there majorly totaling these cars, bad for them but great pickings for us.
  2. Whoa Nelly, as I climb down off my white steed... So while the one who designs Cyber Security systems to help protect our great Nation is wrestling with embedding Pics in his post I'll step up and help those of you who anxiously await for Special K to figure out this complex process by posting them here... :happy feet: Sorry Son, couldn't pass up that awesome rare opportunity...ROFLMAO!!!
  3. K, don't waste time on obstinance.
  4. Totally CONCUR & support the level of responsibility we have for providing Non BIASED facts!
  5. Starting this topic because after some tests, aka playing around N an empty parking lot dry & lightly dusted with snow, we identified that this vehicle tends 2 plow (understeer) N hard cornering... Therefore, we're N the hunt 4 the correct rear sway bar 2 mitigate this issue... So far we've established through Ford that the 2016 Edge Sport & 2017 Fusion Sport share the same front sway bar but not the rear. Why does this Info help...because there is more interest, demand & profit 4 companies 2 develop after market performance parts 4 the Fusion Sport. So since these 2 vehicles share many of the same parts there's a good chance that future Fusion Sport parts development will pave the way 4 our platforms with performance & ease of fitment parts. On that note...we have managed 2 connect with the owner of the Fusion Sport that is currently N the final stages of IC fitment at CPe 2 loan us his stock rear sway bar $ fitment R&D on our Edge Sport... I know we said that the 2 vehicles share the same front sway bars but not the rear however, since these vehicles share very similar, if not the same suspension we have reason 2 believe that the rear sway bar difference may very well just B thickness and if we validate that then hypothetically...performance sway bars 4 the Fusion Sport will be an option 4 performance handling enthusiasts like Xtra... Rules of performance designing: 1st...Controllability (gotta B able 2 control it & connect it 2 use it safely) 2nd..Stoppability (gottab B able 2 stop it...BTW my word, no jelly...lol) 3rd...Power (because it makes my testies tingle & just because we can & we prefer lots of it...lol) Until further developments... CIAO!
  6. We started the BOV topic (http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/23661-2016-sport-27-bov) to provide our findings after having helped a member with Mods on his 2015 Edge Sport FWD and being impressed with the quality and ease of fitment. Also after modding other vehicles we have noted the need to refine the BOV pressure release point when increasing boost pressures, i.e. bigger turbos & a Tune. Yes, it is correct that a stock Edge Sport does not warrant a BOV upgrade as of yet however, there isn't enough historical data on the G2 as of yet. You are most welcome!
  7. Posting error, Ref my next post...
  8. U R most welcome OnyX, It's good 2 note that at least a few appreciate our efforts after having to tolerate so much opposition & criticism from other members. People forget that this is truly a labor of love/common interest and we're not getting any benefits or kick backs, it's totally a community benefit. The prototype cost $850, however note it's a one of a kind and significantly larger, we wouldn't have R&D this one had there only been a 5% benefit (i.e. CX IC) per another members post in this string. The intent was to find an IC with siginifncant improvement for the stock turbos & should one choose to upgrade turbos this IC will also handle the higher demands and eliminate the need to change the IC again... We're estimating an all around 25% benefit N size & Perf, that's a preliminary educated estimate based on physical measurements and an initial performance check. Note: we are still scheduled to R&D with CPe for their IC after their finished doing the form, fit & function on the Fusion Sport which is installed and under test & evaluation as I type... As far as the BOV...go to my BOV topic and there is a link to the vendor (Turbosmart). Hopefully this provided the answers U needed...

  11. I'm taking a survey of how many are seriously interested enough to put down a $100 deposit with me so I can put in an order for the IC shown in the Pics below which were also posted in one of my previous write ups in this string. Depending on the level of interest/hard orders I will attempt to get us a group discount and only tack on a $50 handling fee unless the manufacture is willing to direct ship each order. Until we do some Dyno testing, which will happen some time this year, the preliminary unofficial Specs from the manufacture & Special K are: - Bolt in application after an easy modification of the IC part of the AGS or simply removing entirely - 25% over all increase (size & Perf) - Based on the Fusion Sport IC results with this manufacture you can expect to see around 50-70 degrees less IATs - Estimate 4-7 tenths off of your acceleration times - Cost with shipping $850 Notes: - The vendor is prepared to manufacture the first mass production batch and needs a solid Qty in the next 1-2 Wks. - We're still scheduled to perform R&D, fitment & testing with CPe for their IC sometime in the next 1-3 months. - It is apparent that we're looking at significantly more than 5% gains with this manufacture as opposed to others mentioned in this string and other topic threads.
  12. BUMP!!!... Thnx Manu for chiming in, you're right on the money... In addition, the stock BOV's spring is weak which allows for premature pressure/charge release. Also as we Mod we need the ability to make blow off adjustments. Special K is much more savvy in the specifics of this benefit, I'll ask him to chime in... 4 the record...we're not bling kinda guys. We're form, fit & function logistics engineers. We post to benefit forums members, not to boast...
  13. Lets start off with HAPPY NEW YEAR!... I realize that many of you have been patiently waiting for this information but unfortunately there are those who can find the time to take what we have to offer but can't find the time to give back. That being the case here, to spare you any further delay I'm going to at least provide the pics and highlight in red the areas of focus.

  17. In hind site I can say with even stronger conviction that I made the right choice with this car. Being a 60 year old gear head, road racer, owner of many foreign and a few domestic cars, logistics engineer, perfectionist, Ford hater and non biased evaluator I can say there has never been a more well balanced vehicle in my possession or evaluation portfolio. If your looking for the following you can't go wrong for the money: Mid size SUV/Crossover Passenger & cargo room Handling Power All around performance Reasonable mileage for the power Easy to work on Reasonably priced manufacture parts & accessories Reasonably priced service Low maintainability High reliability Loaded with technology, bells, whistles and the creature comforts of high end status SUVs/Crossovers i.e. Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo etc. Note: All of my comments are specifically in reference to the 2015-2018 Ford Edge Sport only. However, I was informed that the top of the line model "Titanium" with the largest engine they offer is to be considered as well if your more into creature comforts & luxury. Thnx goes out to Burrcold & akirby for keeping me accurate... :hat_tip:
