  1. Tire Rack has a deal on 265X40x21 P Zero only 154.96 each. For some reason I cannot place a link that works. So go to Tire Rack ,click on tires & scroll down to and click on By Size Put in 265X40X21 and click on view results. Go about half way down the page. Not sure how long they will have them as they are a closeout deal. 275x40 will also fit our 21X9 wheels.
  2. No . How did you get the Tranny temp? I know that it must be getting hot, but I can't figure out how to monitor it. And Ford must have a transmission cooler available because the Edge is rated for towing in some configurations. I wonder if the Sport has a tranny cooler.

  4. My car has breathing mods at both ends. Even in stock tune the IC can't begin to keep up enough for a track day or even 2 to 3 laps. I can push my 2016 Sport in the canyons 80 to 90% of track duty and after only 5 to 10 min of pushing it that hard power starts to drop off. And if you have stock brakes they will also start to go in that time. I have been in the canyons stock and tuned. I can run all day at 60 to70% of track duty and it is fine, any more and HP starts to drop off until things cool down. The car works great stock or tuned at those levels and handles spirited driving well. A typical canyon run for me is 40 to 60 miles of hill climbs, hairpins and tight turns. I do not open it up on the straights and keep top speed to around 50 to 60 MPH. Push it hard for just a few minuets and things heat up fast. I have had the PTU over heat, the IC can't keep up and power drops way off, Stock brakes fade. Warning lights and chimes tell me to pull over take a break . All because of hard driving and heat. If I could I would upgrade the IC and add a PTU cooler. I fixed the brakes problem. After a few thousand miles in those canyons I have a good feel for what the car can and cannot do and what upgrades it needs. When someone cracks the IC problem or finds a place to mount a PTU cooler I will upgrade.
  5. You can get . H&R lowering / handling sport springs. Custom tunes from Livernois and others. Big Brake kits from Rotora. Aftermarket tires and wheels 20, 21and 22 inch. Someone here added a Oil Vapor Catch Can. Window tints. Custom Wraps. Strut Tower Brace. MRT true duel Axel Back Exhaust and mufflers. K&N replacement filters and Dry Filters. There might be a few others but that is a good list to start with.
  6. That 3M design line knifeless tape is the only way to go. 3M knifeless tape is the only way to go. It is how mine was done. Everything except the door handles, front logo and headlights. They were done by hand.
  7. E30, OMG The holy grail of turbo fuel for the street ,Awesome!!!! I think you are the first to do that and possibly will be the first into the 12's. World's fastest Edge in the works .
  8. That looks bad as*. Great job. I realy like the hood accents .
  9. The modified part could be the Air Deflector Housing Part # 12, $143 at Tasca ( not sure ). It may not cost that much but replacing it is a big job. The labor will eclipse the cost of the part by far.
  10. Thanks, it may look good but it was a dud, and there is no need to try it again. . What is a FMIC? As for the intake temperature , I have no idea before or after the hack.
  11. The only way to undo it is to replace the cut part.
  12. I think you are talking about something like this? I built this first before the hack. Trouble was the under hood air temp is off the chart. It was a big fail and I had to return back to the stock configuration.
  13. Wondering if 21 x 10 wheels with 295 x 35 tires will fit on a G2 Edge Sport ? Stock wheels are 21 x 9. A 295 x 35 x 21 tire will be aprox 6/10 inch on each side wider than the stock 265 x 21 x 40 tires. That is using the same offset as the stock wheels. The 295 x 35 tire has a 4.1 inch side wall. The Stock 265 x 40 tire has a 4.2 inch side wall . Only 1/10 inch diff. Overall a 295 x 35 is 29.1 inch tall and the stock 265 x 21 are 29.3 tall. Only 2/10 diff. The 295 is 1.2 inch wider than stock. There are lots of manufactures making this size tire so there a a great selection to chose from. The strut shown in the diagram is for show only. Don't worry if the wheel looks like it fouls! Has anyone put oversize tires on a G2 Sport yet? If so what combo did they / you use ? 7mm more than before.
  14. You have to have the Sensor in place for proper air fuel mix. Other Names: Air Intake Temp Sensor, Air Mass Sensor, Air Temp Sensor, Sensor Assembly. Dehcure82 must have the Sensor mounted on the side of his air box or his car would not run correctly The socks over his filters are unnecessary though. They are designed for use on dirt track racing or off road where gunk or mud can clog or stick to the filter. You can pull into the pits and change the socks faster and cheaper than replacing filters. They do not hurt anything and if Dehcure82 likes them then thats fine, no harm.
  15. I am not sure if our stock inter-cooler is air to air or air to liquid cooled. Chances are it is air to air. Turbonetics has a large choice of sizes in stock of both types, and they also do custom work. Here is a link to the custom page. West Coast http://www.turboneticsinc.com/performance/products/intercoolers/custom-fabrication Fluidyne is a high performance race oriented company . Drift cars, oval track and road racers use Fluidyne Heat exchangers for oil, water, rear ends, Transmissions and Inter-coolers. They can custom make an inter-cooler to fit as well. East Coast http://fluidyne.com Fluidyne told me that if I sent them my stock inter-cooler they could use it to make the custom one with brackets that would alow it to bolt in.
  16. I just checked my side mirrors . I pointed both at the ground and then I chose Memory #1 thats my preset. Both mirrors returned to normal #1 preset condition. It is not automatic but you could preset #2 or 3 to have the mirrors in your chosen back up configuration. Then pressing the #2 or 3 button will adjust both mirrors for back up, use preset #1 to return them to normal. I know it is not what you are trying to do, But one touch is better than adjusting the mirrors manually every time. The motors are there, the memory is there, you might be able to do it by having the #2 or 3 preset tied to reverse somehow.
  17. Yes , It is a 2015 SEMA car. This car was built to showcase Webasto car pre heaters, great technology . https://www.webasto.com/us/markets-products/car/webasto-2015-ford-edge-sport-ignition/
  18. I wanted to open that up and put a PTU cooler there. I was told that there is not enough room for the heat exchanger. And that is where the Adaptive Cruise Control Sensor was. I don't have ACC, but I was told hose for the inter-cooler takes up most of the space. The Webasto Edge has the cover removed, and it looks like they put in a larger custom inter-cooler and a scoop grill to maximize air flow .
  19. I found this on YouTube. Looks like someone put a custom Borla muffler system on a G2 Edge Sport. Borla does not make a kit for the G2 Sport ( that I know of ). I gave the measurements of the MRT mufflers in this thread . With that info you can have a custom system built using other manufactures mufflers of similar size and know they will fit.
  20. 1. Click on "More Reply Options" 2. Click on "Choose File" then select the photo you want . 3. The file name or photo name will appear Next to choose file. Now wait for it to download. 4. After it down loads the file will appear Above "Attach Files". It will be highlighted now . * Try clicking on "Attach This File" It might make it highlight faster . It takes a while. Give it some time, if it does not down load and highlight , try the basic uploader. Click on "Basic Uploader" located below. If the Basic Uploader fails try the "Advanced Uploader" located in the same place. You will see one or the other . Click on it. Then go back to #2 and try again. 5. In the highlighted area you will see a preview of the photo. 6. Place your cursor where you want the photo to be located in your post . 6. Click on "Add to Post" in the highlighted preview. The name of the photo should appear in the post where your cursor was. 7. Thats it. I hope that my instructions help some.
