2016 Edge Sport (G2) Front & Rear Sway Bars

Your McMaster Carr collars look better and more beefy than the Whiteline collars and they cost the same. What is the part number of those? -

2016 Edge Sport (G2) Front & Rear Sway Bars
Xtra replied to snmjim's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
Great information with good photos Thanks . Was there room to put the lateral lock / shaft collars on after the sway bar was installed or did you have to put them on first ? -
I received a LMS My Calibrator unit from Granatelli today. It has his tune on it and it works just like the one I recieved from LMS with the LMSV3 tune on it. This is so cool as now I can go from tune to stock for service visits at the dealership. I thought I was going to have to have the tune in it and the stock tune was lost forever. I just tested it and he gave me a 91 ,93 and the stock tune Also found out that Granatelli works close with LMS and LMS uses some of his equipment to tune.

2016 Edge Sport (G2) Front & Rear Sway Bars
Xtra replied to snmjim's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
Thanks everyone, but I must add this disclaimer that as yet no one has installed these lateral locks and I am looking forward to feedback on that. I do not anticipate any problems. -
I had the steering fault light up and they replaced the steering wheel, did the job in one day . No problems sense .

It is not about straight line so much for me as it is for corners and canyons. Turn and burn !!

2016 Edge Sport (G2) Front & Rear Sway Bars

The sway bar is between 1.127 and 1.130 inch diameter so that would require the 28 to 30mm or 1 and 1/4 inch lateral lock. I like the idea and I am going to order some for my car. A super easy and lightweight fix . Great find veener79 Alloy high performance lateral locks are designed to maintain Swaybar centralization. 1. Once you have your Swaybar in position and central with links attached, attach the lateral locks next to the mounting bush (leave approx 3-4mm gap). This can be either side of the mounting bush but its best to aim for the most accessible area on the Swaybar. If there is little room to physically tighten the lateral locks, it may be best to mark your Swaybar then remove from vehicle then attach the lateral locks prior to fitment. 2. Tighten the lateral lock bolts down evenly and use mild force to secure. Note : Please don’t over tighten. 3. After test driving the vehicle, recheck Swaybar position and adjust lateral locks if necessary. Part # - Whiteline KLL130 SwayBar- Lateral Lock, I found them here for $31.32 Free Shipping https://www.bing.com/aclick?ld=d3N4ZdI6-KRyhwsYl7uSbEbjVUCUxTe41iMxl5Vu1svkGtLOjOND8f1gtp3TwkS4S9C3EaKnEUdrUsxsRQuGS9LVm1e2In-ecStQ3rTn5JEzypHuMkElA-yEOE_4j6xx4zaJXsYL5tM9hxuDZt1bhJg3z0EnMyhYr_o25ptEVBdLDr81Lk&u=https%3a%2f%2fwww.carid.com%2fwhiteline%2fsway-bar-alloy-lateral-lock-kit-mpn-kll130.html%3fview%3d178369%26utm_source%3dmicrosoft%26utm_medium%3dcpc%26utm_campaign%3d53463042%26utm_content%3d4181287667 -

2016 Edge Sport (G2) Front & Rear Sway Bars

Yes!! My bar just arrived -
Yes, Granatelli named his Mustang dyno the heartbreaker as the numbers are lower than a DynoJets.

snmjim and Special_K have given us a great combo that works together fantastic. The big IC, cold side pipe and a set of custom Edge Sport turbos. If you do nothing else those 3 things will make a huge difference in your car. Oh, and my milage so far has been good around 20 with lots of stop and go city driving . I got 30mpg on the way to the tune while cruising at 75 on the Freeway. I will now check the milage with the tune over the next few days.

I am looking for a drag strip close to me, So far I found two one with a 1/8 mile and another with 1/4 mile both are around 80 to 100 miles away. I should have a canyon run video posted after I get the new sway bar installed. The car runs so much better now with the Comp turbos and tune than it ever has. Torque is amazing, before when I punched it at 30 mph it would squeal the tires. Now when I did it for the first time last night after the tune it surprised me and it was hard to hold onto making a "S" as the tires broke loose and the car jumped. And the top end is scary for the street now as it just keeps building power and going faster and faster instead of like before it would loose power in the top end. It just keeps pulling and building HP. I love it!~

Answers: 1. Don't know 2. Think it was 3rd gear. Don't know for sure, just guessing. 3. Turbos are not stock and move more air. This why I posted in this thread. 4. Thanks, we think so as well . 5. EB programing will always run the most timing possible then the knock sensor kicks in and retards it. We did not disconnect the knock sensor.
-
That is the raw data just several runs averaged out.
-
J.R. Granatelli told me he trashed on my car hard with the dyno and was looking to see when it gets heat soaked . He tried but the car only lost 10hp thanks to the big new IC . He was very impressed with it and told me so.
-
Here you go, and this is the average of several runs. A bit less than the max numbers I posted before. I will walk you through the chart. This is a 91 tune 1. At the bottom you see the Air Fuel ratio that took a big hit after 4,600rpm before the tune . This killed the top end. After the tune the ratio is flat all the way with a 12.9 to 1 ratio. 2. Next up is the boost you can see it dropped off at 5.000rpm and was 16.1pounds. After the tune boost went up one pound to 17.1 and stayed flat from 3,000 to 6,000 rpm 3. Next lines up is the HP max before the tune is 276 and it dropped off at 5,300 rpm. After the tune Hp jumped up 72 and never stopped climbing . This means I now have great top end and the car will continue to pull and build power up to redline. 4. At the top of the graph is Torque. Pre tune it made 314 pounds after the tune it made 394 pounds a gain of 80 Foot pounds. Final Average results : Hp gain 72 -- TQ gain 80 ----- Totals = 348HP and 394TQ at the wheels with 91 tune.
-
Just installed my Duel Port BOV in time before the tune.

Thanks to - Galpin Auto Sports- GAS, Granatelli Motorsports, Comp Turbos and last but not least snmjim and Special_K.
