  1. My Dragy and phone mount just arrived ! Just have to download the App, charge it up and try it out .
  2. Hang in there TRYINGTOADULT, once you get the tunes in the MY Calibrator unit it is super easy to tune the car... And will worth the effort!
  3. Very interesting I was not aware of this , Race Gas looks to be a very good quality product. It appears to be similar to Torco in that it is not just an octane boost per say but an additive to gas that converts it into race fuel. They are both safe for oxygen sensors and catalytic converters. The big difference I can see right away is in the price. On Amazon Race Gas costs $31.55 per Qt. and Torco costs $19.90 per Qt. With Race Gas to make 91 octane 101 you need to add 5 oz per gal. So one quart will raise 6 gal of 91 to 101. That works out to $5.26 per gal + the cost of the 91 gas. With Torco one quart will raise 10 gal of 91 octane to 102. That works out to $1.99 per gal + the cost of the 91 gas. One big thing to remember is that the all time 1/4 mile record for the Ford Edge was set with Race Gas in the tank and that says a lot. In conclusion 037 and I have presented solid choices for converting pump gas into race fuel. Not just octane boosters.
  4. This is one of the best octane boosters that you can get. Mixing instructions are on the can.
  5. If new wipers do not fix the problem the next thing to look at is the windshield itself. Sometimes an invisible film can form on the glass . This could be from a car wash spray coating, RainX, detail spray, car wax, environmental debris or even rubber from the first wipers that chattered. Try a good deep cleaning on one part of the windshield that has this problem and see if the wipers settle down in that area. If they do then proceed to deep clean the entire windscreen. You might need more than just a household spray glass cleaner to remove the film. I have had wiper chatter from spray wax and detail spray over spray. Cleaning the glass fixed the problem. I cannot remember what products I used to clean the glass, I do remember the elbow grease required. It was not just a spray and wipe type of thing.
  6. I never thought of it until just now, 037 just made a lightbulb go off. Would my 107.26 mph on 91 pump gas be a racord of some kind?
  7. Thanks for pushing through this move and all the hard work you do and have done for the community . You have created a wonderful site here... Long Live the FEF .
  8. 109mph! Wow that's moving. Your beast is breathing well with those downpipes and new exhaust. Congrats on the new records. This is what I have expected for a while now and I am happy to see your hard work paying off.
  9. Thanks for the great link BCB has it going on.
  10. I find it interesting that BCB lists a HPFP for the Edge Sport 2.7EB. When I contacted Xtreme DI the manufactures of the HPFP that BCB uses a few months ago they said they don't make one for the Edge Sport 2.7EB. Perhaps BCB has cracked the tune for the Edge using the XDI HPFP or XDI has a new product. I need to call them and find out what's up, I could use that HPFP for sure and possibly larger injectors to unleash the beast .
  11. vmaxbaby, they look nice & I like the color of your car it looks awesome. I have a 2016 Edge Sport with the OEM 21inch rims and when I first got my car I installed a set of these caliper covers. Unfortunately I had nothing but problems with them. They had clearance problems scraping the rim and causing a terrible noise. The clearance was just too tight with the 21 inch rims. I could get them to fit for a while but within a few miles they would move and start scraping . I adjusted them several times to try and alleviate the problem to no use, it got so bad I had to remove them. The covers were scratched and damaged beyond repair very quickly. I was able to get a complete refund on them. I hope you have no problems and they work well for you.
  12. Just ordered a Dragy and windshield mount for my iPhone . Can't wait for them to arrive .
  13. For me the top mods that are the biggest bang for the buck and that will transform a G2 Edge Sport . 1. H&R Springs 2. A tune
  14. I noticed that the Godspeed springs state a drop of 1.2" Front and 1.6" Rear this is the same as the H&R. My actual drop with the H&R springs was 1.375" Front and 1.75" rear. Just a bit more than advertised . Here you can see they look almost identical with the same # of coils arranged in the same way. The GS are listed at $198 and the H&R are $241. The H&R springs are a proven item. Several people here have them for years with no sagging and nothing but praise for them , the GS springs are an unknown. As I am not much of a gambler the $43 difference for me is not worth taking a chance. Be brave and take the leap, be the first here with them and give a report. Who knows you might save some bucks and end up with something great..
  15. And now back on topic. I like the idea that BCB will work with you when you have a custom Edge unlike other tuners who are reluctant to do so. In my experience It was very difficult to find anyone that was willing to tune my car with it's custom turbos. To find a good EcoBoost tuner is no easy thing and BCB is a great find and asset to the community.
  16. That's great news I have an iPhone.
  17. The Dragy looks like it is the way to go for me. I am going to have to get one and a phone mount ASAP . My track is only 75 miles away but traffic makes it a 31/2 hour drive... Brutal .
  18. Congrats on the 12.96, you just "Edged" me out... Welcome to the 12 second club. I know for a fact that you are just getting warmed up.
  19. No problem , I am too messed up to deal with it anyway. Heck, I can't even get the prototype off my car and ship it to you or Special_K yet. This has been a huge setback for me. I have a gut feeling what the aFe intake is anyway.... We will see.
  20. Hello CRJ, I saw you car and you have done a nice job with it . That is my car a 2016 Sport and those are Rotora Street Challenge Brakes. The fronts are 380mm =15 inch cross drilled 2 piece rotors with 6 piston calipers and the rears are 350mm = 13.7" cross drilled 2 piece rotors with 4 piston calipers. The brakes still retain ABS and the electric parking brake. I have had them on my car for about 2.5 years now and they have never given me problems. I run them hard in the canyons that I live next to . IE: Mulholland , The Snake , Stunt Road and many others, check them out on You Tube. I have run these roads with other Edges that have stock brakes and I can tell you the stock brakes gave up within 20 min on these roads overheating and fading. I can run all day with no problems. You need to talk to Loren @ Rotora tell and him Extra sent you from this forum and he will work with you on the price. They are expensive but Loren is a good guy and should save you a lot. The slotted rotors are not as sexy as the cross drilled IMO but are more durable, but again I have never had a problem with my cross drilled in the time I have had them . You can PM me if you wish. https://www.rotora.com/street-challenge
  21. Welcome CRJ nice ride . I like the rims and tires could you tell me more about them?
  22. I have had the same Weathertech mats in my car for 2 years now and they are great . The fit is perfect and they defiantly save on wear and tear of the interior. I just put the stock floor mats into storage so if I ever sell the car the carpets will look like new. I can recommend this product and if you can get them from Close to the Edge at a discount go for it.
  23. It is important to have regular maintenance on the BAMR as it is proving to be finicky .
  24. I spoke to my service manager about the BAMR and he told me about the rain gutters located at the top of the windshield and how they can get plugged and cause problems with water getting in the cabin. I would recommend to anyone who is still under factory warranty to have their vista roof cleaned and lubed just before the warranty expires. Just tell the service manager that it is slowing down and it sounds as if the motor is working hard to make it move. This way it will be in top shape after the warranty expires.
